What is the color of Marion Kay 99-X?
From the picture on the MK website it appears to have a distinctly brownish (or muddy red) look to it, and I see the same on the "Food Theory" video, but it may just be my laptop monitor distorting the color.

Any guesses as to why it's brown with a hint of red instead of gray or gray with a hint of green? Paprika?

with the information others got when they reverse engineered 99x (why I'm NOT sure) except it has connections to KFC. When Willie has the Original KFC as a Test whch would be the same as testing 99x of current?
with the reverse engineering a person should come close to what Marion Kay has in a Photo.
it someone has the complete Break down of 99x Post it on here if you want I will have it Mixed by a Spice Company and photo for examples to post unless someone has done that on the other forum ?

Is there a recipe that goes with the reverse engineered seasoned flour. You can clearly see the red in the copycat.

Currently we are just finishing the recipe
We are just trying different grinds of spices and herbs and dialing in the final values
We just received a KFC Bags of Spices from another country and want to reverse engineer it and cross compare it to our Australian KFC Spice Bag we have.

What color are the contents of each of the real KFC bags? What are their weights? And how much flour and salt are they instructed to be added to?
