Interesting read:
If you don't have access to Sichuan peppercorn, the alternative is to use freshly ground black pepper and coriander seeds. Tellicherry peppercorn can be a good substitute if you have it available.

It appears that the French only codified into law that Herbs de Provence must be (by weight) 19% Thyme, 27% Rosemary, 27% Savory, and 27% Oregano in the year 2006. Not that it matters much, but let's be a bit more correct here. There is no Law in France about the HdP itself. In French grocery stores, you will find as many different blends by that name as anywhere else in the world. In fact, my impression is that the absolute vast majority of the blends are not limited to Thyme, Rosemary, Savory and Oregano. You really need to search well to find one actually. The 'Label Rouge' is more about quality.

Silver thank you for the follow up investigation Great work. I AGREE there is nothing saying that a NOT can be arrived many ways. I think that sumac, Herbs de Provence can be Great items and Have used them in many Dished BOTH. WHAT I FIND CRAZY AND NUTS is KFC Museum putting 192 Spice tins on the wall and tell people to Guess which 11 C.H.S. used So then SOMEONE KNOWS the 11 Spices an Herbs who reviewed the spice tin 24 across in a roll and 8 rolls Down = 192

The 'Label Rouge' is more about quality. Any blend can have quality. Equating quality with defined and delineated weight percentages of specified ingredients seems senseless.

I Think there are many Companies who Have better then Average Quality Spices.
it's just finding the Great quality Spices at a Cost that Does NOT break the Bank Roll ordering it.
it tough lesson order spices and getting Crap items which has been a Big item in the last 2 years.
Finding some high Quality items can be sourced at Asian Markets cheaper then many places I have found BUT it's a HIT and Miss what they have also. BUT cost is lower.

"The Label Rouge is a national sign, which refers to products which by their terms of production or manufacture have a higher level of quality compared to other similar products usually marketed. Quality, in this case, refers to all the properties and characteristics of a product that give it its ability to satisfy explicit or implicit needs." This is how the French National Institute of origin and quality describes the Label Rouge. No need for edgy and hasty comments. I was trying to help.
