I've consistently been actively trying to get DFN101 to be honest and open, rather than being the obfuscator that he clearly is. That said, I do believe that he potentially knows far more than he is willing to disclose. And it's not outside of the realm of possibility that he knows more about the subject matter at hand here than either of us. I've been asking him (openly) as to what he gets from this forum, and he's never responded. I'm still waiting for him to explain his motivation in ever teasing and confounding us, and I'm not licking his boots in the process. Nor will I lick yours.

Never asked you to. It’s just amazing you feel this way. He has never, ever, ever been straight forward with anything that isn’t already in public domain. The intent is to string folks along. Quite simple. And he does a great job of it apparently.

The story about the ginger was in Brown's book. DFN comments about it as if it was a well discussed issue within his circle. There's a word for this. All I'm saying.

I was Around the Cooking process when K.F.C. changed to a American subgrade Ginger.
C.H.S. was the ONE who was telling the Franchise owners to ADD more Ginger Prior to the NEW AGE sending out the Jamaican Ginger as a extra item to add to certain Batch Numbers of K.F.C. New Age Seasoning.
Understand this Also after the NEW Batch's were corrected and Fixed many Franchise Cooks still added the ginger to the New already changed Ginger which caused issue's in taste BUT was short lived as they Did NOT have Large supplies of the Ginger on hand but mistakes were made until K.F.C. Instructed NO FURTHER use of the extra Package
Yes the Upload I posed was from the Book as people were saying there is NO Documented Proof of Ginger.
I uploaded it Long time AGE and ALSO Commented that the Story was LONG LONG before the printing and release of the books also

deepfriednew101, all you ever do is endlessly blather on like a broken record, with no definitively direct recipe advice that has ever guided anyone to making a better KFC_like chicken. Here's a hint: We on this forum aren't getting anything of recipe value from this sort of blather. No one cares about your memorabilia. No one cares about your love for CHS. No one cares about your stories. All we want is objectively solid, straight forward, and reliable KFC recipe guidance. Which is precisely what you never offer to us. Why are you here? What are you getting from this? What's in it for you? flg (aside from quite unnecessarily and humiliatingly dragging me into this as what effectively amounts to being a DFN101 boot licker) has you figured out to the tee. Gathering a following of DFN101 boot lickers, and stringing them along like trophies, is that what motivates your forum participation?

Silver one telling clue. Has he ever posted a recipe that you feel is as good as your best one(s)? He hasn't of my best one(s). And you have been around enough to realize that there are acceptable substitutes that could be used to get in the crosshairs of the OR. His ratios are generally off as well. He could post a recipe that has a couple non critical substitutions but still get something in range. You know I spend time sifting through the internet and documents I can find. To try to build a solid event based timeline. In that work, I have found more than once, details he didn't know or don't match his take. Same stories on repeat. Reminds me of the old continuous play 8 track players. Over and over again until you make a decision to pull out the tape.
