Don't bet the farm on ChatGPT. Garbage in = Garbage out. We need someone who is fluent in Egyptian.

Generally speaking, Relish is a word for blend, and it is also a word describing savored. Dukkah is a savored blend. Dukkah seems most often to translate directly to "pounded".

Here's what a major AI bot spewed out when I asked it about Bahrat and KFC OR. Quite the dead end:

I also do think that “relish” is an attempt to translate the “Italian Seasoning “ portion of the Herbs and spices.
While this thread is an attempt to translate the Egyptian KFC, I do remember once in the 80s tasting mint in the US KFC. I recall joking to my sister that someone must have smeared toothpaste on the spices not knowing mint as a spice at that time. To wit, the KFC corporation must be continually circulating spices to prevent the target consumer from desensitizing the unique flavor of its product.

Who detects traditional Italian herbs/spices within real KFC OR? It's possible for sure, but I live in an area dominated by Pizza shops that have delved deeply into the deep fried chicken business. All of their deep fried chicken products taste awful to precisely the degree that they add their Italian pizza sauce seasoning ingredients into it. Which is apparently inevitable. Not one of them comes even remotely close to tasting like KFC OR.

Smallgree had previously shared KFC corporation advertising images of the 11 herbs and spices from the 1960. Italian Seasoning was part of the 11 Herbs and spices. It’s interesting that Italian fried chicken receives a negative review.😅 Apicius from Ancient Rome wrote his recipe for fried chicken. So that Italian fried chicken might be the original fried chicken. It’s essentially Italian herb fried chicken in olive oil. www.thesaison.com/foodanddrink/crispy-parthian-chicken-a-recipe-from-ancient-rome
