Egypt KFC Seasoning Bags
I have obtained Bags of the Egypt KFC Seasoning which Indicate the
INGREDIENTS:
Monosodium Glutamate
Herbs and Spices
Paprika
Ananias Seed
Basil
Celery Seed
Coriander
Water Grass
Cumin
Dill
Relish
Mustard
Hot Pepper
Cinnamon
Ginger
Cardamom
Vanilla
Salt
Garlic Powder
A Bag of the Seasoning Have been sent for testing for cooking
The Bag is being reverse engineered for amounts of Seasoning but the testing
I have also secured Bags of Seasoning from Jamaica and other countries for comparison.

Thanks deepfriednew101! The sum comes to 16 H&S type ingredients for the Egyptian bag. By inference I can see now why you are always emphasizing that my "Sweet 16" recipe is/was on the right track. |

Searches for the 'Ananias Seed' have come up empty for me (despite that I agree it's factually what the Egyptian bag states). Is it possible that this is the 'Anise Seed'? Or might it be the Annatto Seed? I found this interesting tidbit:

Might Water Grass mean Lemon Grass? We grew Lemon Grass a few years back, and it fits the bill of being a tall grass.

Wasn't this all hashed out on the "Thoughts" thread you must have read DFN101? Including a picture of the bag. I think DutchGuy posted a pretty good cleaned photo of it as well
And the english translation on the bag. Doesn't seem to match what google translate does to the Arabic on the bag.
But if you have a high resolution picture of the bag. Without creases like the OR post on that thread. I 'd gladly try to get the 2 or 3 extra words translated that you can't quite make out.

I have multiple un-open New Bags and have a translator to translate all words
so it will not be a issue to translate all the words BUT I Printed the items from the Bag and also had it Translated to me

Dfn101, would you also have KFC bags from India?
I would guess that the KFC bag would contain cumin, Fenugreek and turmeric.
Are you at any liberty to list the ingredients from the Jamaica KFC bag? It would be nice to know what makes the Jamaican KFC more spicy.

Yes there is a recipe
The bags of Seasoning from Other countries will Prove without reason doubt that All Countries are NOT using the same seasoning it Has Zero to do with the Hand written recipe TWO totally different reasons for the acquisition of seasoning Bags from Many countries and Different Years of Seasoning also.
When All the bags have been received a comparison list of what they list as ingredient's will be made and it will also have country origin and legislations they require for packaging.
One bag from each country will be sacrificed for Photo and testing comparison of cooking and also comparison of years similar to willie age difference of Bags.
All will be compared to Mixed comparison of 99-x and Grace's Perfect Blend and Claudia Mix used at the restaurant and Hand written recipe.
current assessment are Proving Countries season are Different and the Jamaican is a standout front runner for Full Flavor above ALL others BUT there are more to taste and sample.
