You can see that the bag states that it was packaged in 2014 and will expire 1 year later in 2015.

"No clove, no nutmeg, no mace, no allspice, no anise seed, no star-anise, no sage, no savory, no thyme, no marjoram, no oregano, no rosemary, no black pepper?, no white pepper?, etc..." Get on down that rabbit hole, but buy the cinnamon. LOL So then how is it an attempt to push people towards cinnamon? you just said "All I see is an attempt to push everyone towards cinnamon" If it were an attempt to push people toward cinnamon, don't you think they would've listed the pepper aswell to make the bag seem more legit? Funny how East frisian again refers to me by saying "in the grip of confirmation bias and excitement" Yet i never said that bag is the sole reason that confirms cinnamon for me? i literally said "idk about this egypt recipe, but cinnamon is in the recipe" any chance he can get to try and discredit me tho.

I do, and it is more important than most realize.
After reading TCK posts for a year or so, I joined the forum, which was already decomposing. The first thing I brought up was the aroma/smell factor. As a kid I could smell our KFC nearly a mile away. I equated that with thanksgiving and turkey dressing (Yanks call it stuffing, although they don't "stuff it" in the turkey) which filled the house with the same type of aroma. In my neck of the woods, onion, celery and sage are requisites for dressing. Celery has tons of aroma.
I have approached my research with the aroma/smell factor foremost on my agenda. I also grew up in a bakery, and I am quite familiar with the odor and taste of cinnamon. That is the basis of my opinion. I can detect the smallest amounts of cinnamon, which to me, throws off the other flavors. But, never say never. I also believe that KFC has thrown the OR recipe before us, in plain sight, with the belief that replicators will ignore it due to pride and prejudice.
