Can't edit. It was the summer of 1975 he gave the recipe to Winston.

It would have been a Marion kay version as it was in the 100% work sheet method
which C.H.S. would have NOT been using in the 1939. Over Under scales were not used for 100% measurements

100 grams ÷ 6.25 = 16 grams
1250 grams ÷ 6.25 = 200 grams
1250 grams = 10 US Cups of an AP type flour
6.25 is the link between Shelton and recipes built upon a base of 200 grams. And it points straight to the 32 ounce bag. And it doesn't point to any other bag weight.
Think about it!!!! The implications are huge!!! A major breakthrough!!!

Flour = Cake (or perhaps Pastry)

MSG and Coleman's Mustard Powder may be reversed? This switch places MSG at the top of the ingredients order list.

If Celery, Garlic, and Onion are considered to be vegetables it might look like this:
20 Black & White Pepper (12 Black/8 White) 13 Coleman's Mustard Powder 10 MSG 6 Coriander 6 Ginger 6 Allspice 6 Sage 6 Celery Salt 6 Garlic Salt 6 Onion Salt 6 Paprika 3 Savory 3 Thyme 3 Marjoram

Am I dreaming, or do I factually recall deepfriednew101 (or was it someone else?) mention rather recently that in her book, Margaret Sanders stated that there aren't many herbs in her Father's Kentucky Fried Chicken recipe? That might mean three things: 1) There are only on the order of about three. 2) Their by weight quantity is of far less significance than for Spices. 3) A combination of 1 & 2.

My posting was Tagged off Willies comment or other Profile who mentioned
Margaret Sanders stated that there aren't many herbs in her Father's Kentucky Fried Chicken recipe?
I have Indicated that two Books and other Articles have STATED:
C.H.S. saying the Following, The Original was Flour, Salt, Pepper, and then He added Herbs the Family liked.
Always Said some Herbs were some of the Beginning items One indication was Basil, He had said Basil on a Mission Trip, and K.F.C. has indicated Basil in 1970's
