I think the posting we posted back in 2020 was this Quote BUT ALL THE SAME: Others have tried to replicate the recipe, and occasionally someone claims to have found a copy of Sanders’ creation. The executive said none have come close, adding the actual recipe would include some surprises. " The executive said none have come close, adding the actual recipe would include some surprises." You are correct that statement was said and points out a GREAT POINT that back in 2020 we threaded about and then it swept under the carpet Glad its revisited. Tarragon was NOTE in the 1966 Famous Chicken vs. KFC Court Case CHS use ONLY Heinz Tarragon Vinegar and Tarragon in the Recipes. The article does not state that „KFC uses tarragon in their recipes.“ It refers solely to the cole slaw salad in both sentences. Of course you are free to believe it is also being used in the OR, fair enough, but this is a clear misreading of a text and manipulative as we are not discussing the cole slaw recipe here.

This Article was ONE Narrative From One Writer, interpretation. The Other Writers of the Court Case were more defined in the Words and the Court Case sure defined the Tarragon use.
There were 3 articles written regarding the Court Case. This case has been spoke about even back to the Oldest Forum on the Wayback machine now.
On Ken's Forum all the Articles were posted. For some reason Ken or Dustin Chose to Highlight this ONE continually?
The Court Case Paperwork written decision also DEFINED NO OTHER COMPETITORS Barred from cooking chicken ETC ETC ETC.
NEXT TIME I will POST this is ONLY 1 ARTICLE please review ALL Articles regarding the Case for future details THANK YOU I WILL BE MORE DEFINED NEXT TIME WITH a CAPTION
Sorry for failing to mention more details are located on the other media source who wrote about the Case.

You have been sharing this very same article on more than one occasion if I remember correctly. Probably to support your claim. But it simply doesn't, no matter how often you post it. If there is an article that actually does support your tarragon claims, then please share it. Would be much appreciated.
Maybe you were not aware of it yourself. But you should not employ eisegesis when working with texts. I have a background in linguistics. And yes, you are right. This is just an article, words of a reporter. Not infallible.

I agree! I first started speculating about Autolyzed Yeast Extract at least half a year ago. kfc.boards.net/thread/341/umami-flavor-contributors-potential-candidatesBut I don't see it here unless it's hiding: SA KFC IMOR THIGH Chicken, water, salt, sodium citrate (E331), sodium carbonates (E500),glucose, maltodextrin, thickeners (E417, E415, E466, E1422), stabiliser (E407, E508), flavourants (chicken flavour, grill flavour), flavour enhancers (E631, E627), spice and herb extracts, dispersing Agents (E436, E433), anti-caking agent(E551), SA KFC IMOR WING Chicken, water, salt, sodium citrate (E331), sodium carbonates, (E500), glucose, maltodextrin, thickeners (E417, E415, E466, E1422), stabiliser (E407, E508), flavourants (chicken flavour, grill flavour), flavour enhancers (E631, E627), spice and herb extracts, dispersing Agents (E436, E433), anti-caking agent(E551) Edit: This South African ingredients list for KFC OR doesn't hold many punches. Likely this is the most honest and forthright representation of KFC OR ingredients to be found anywhere.

I didn't see any mention of the Original Recipe or the 11 herbs and spices in KFC South Afrika.
KFC SA is not KFC OR as I see it, but please if you find something else there let us know.

Notice carefully that the SA KFC ingredients list mentions zero actual herbs and spices. They are all extracts now.
