200 grams flour ÷ 1143 grams flour (9 cups) = 0.175 = reduction factor
20 x 0.175 = 3.50 18 x 0.175 = 3.15 13 x 0.175 = 2.28 11 x 0.175 = 1.93 11 x 0.175 = 1.93 10 x 0.175 = 1.75 6 x 0.175 = 1.05 4 x 0.175 = 0.70 3 x 0.175 = 0.53 3 x 0.175 = 0.53 1 x 0.175 = 0.18
13.0g. MSG 4.50g. Salt 3.50g. White Pepper (1) 3.15g. Black Pepper (2) 2.28g. Paprika (3) 1.93g. Sage (4) 1.93g. Celery Salt (5) 1.75g. Coriander (6) 1.05g. Ginger (7) 0.70g. Allspice (8) 0.53g. Thyme (or Savory) (9) 0.53g. Mustard Seed (10) 0.18g. Mediterranean Oregano (or Mexican Oregano, or Marjoram)
Add to 200 grams Cake or Pastry Flour + 24 grams Salt
NOTE: 13.0g. MSG/0.175 = 74.3g. NOTE: 4.50g. Salt/0.175 = 25.7g. NOTE: 74.3g. + 25.7g. = 100g.

13 + 4.5 + 3.5 + 3.15 + 2.28 + 1.93 + 1.93 + 1.75 + 1.05 + 0.7 + 0.53 + 0.53 + 0.18 = 35.03
35.03 (in ounces) lies between the 32 ounce bag and the 40 ounce bag
Call it a zinged 32 ounce bag
Or call it a 40 ounce bag that was placed on an MSG and Salt diet

Feel free to reverse Celery Seed and Coriander. That makes it align better with 99X which has Coriander following Sage.
Note, would a moderator or administrator please change the 1.93 grams of "Celery Salt" to "Celery Seed" in the post 2 posts above this one.

If the 20,18,13,11,11,10,6,4,3,3,1 thing has validity, then scaling it as I have done above seems to put it on the road to success. Of course the 11 ingredients still need to be resolved, and then placed in the correct 11 spots, but I think this scaling resolves the weights to be assigned to each slot. And this seems to be a huge step forward.

The corrected version (correcting Celery Salt to Celery Seed, and also swapping Celery Seed and Coriander):
13.0g. MSG 4.50g. Salt 3.50g. White Pepper (1) 3.15g. Black Pepper (2) 2.28g. Paprika (3) 1.93g. Sage (4) 1.93g. Coriander (5) 1.75g. Celery Seed (6) 1.05g. Ginger (7) 0.70g. Allspice (8) 0.53g. Thyme (or Savory) (9) 0.53g. Mustard Seed (10) 0.18g. Mediterranean Oregano (or Mexican Oregano, or Marjoram)

A side note from my trials,
I use Oregano alot, its great with chicken, but at this low level I don't think it would be enough.

A side note from my trials, I use Oregano alot, its great with chicken, but at this low level I don't think it is enough. DT I'm the opposite. I'm super sensitive to Oregano, and I was concerned that at 0.18 grams it would be potentially too much. The cure is to go with one of my provided alternatives if it proves to be too much. Oops, I just noticed that I forgot to place the all important (11) designator on the Oregano(s) line.

Here is the "corrected" recipe in the downloadable format that has become my standard means of entering recipes onto this forum:

Where does the 20,18,13,11,11,10,6,4,3,3,1 scaling relationship come from, and is the source for it reliable? Via following it my sum total grams of items #3 through #11 within the above recipe is at least 3-fold higher than that for my best tasting recipes. If the above recipe proves to be a failure, then the most likely reason for it will be an overabundance of non-pepper H&S.
