Contemplating only 5 ingredients beyond B&W Pepper yet again:

30.0 g. Salt (or 32-34 if not brining)
1 TSP Baking Powder
1 TSP Cream Of Tartar
1 TBSP Chinese Red Oil added to the deep frying oil

4.00 g. MSG
4.00 g. Black Pepper (Medium Coarse)
3.00 g. White Pepper
2.00 g. White Sugar
1.50 g. Coriander Seed [1]
1.50 g. Pizza Pepper Flakes [2]
1.00 g. Allspice [3]
0.50 g. Mace [4]
0.25 g. Cardamom [5]

Why Would One limited the Ingredient list to 5 items ?
The Court Case Limited the Ingredient list to 5 Individual Ingrediencies To bar Competitor's From replicating the 11 Herbs and Spices KFC .
In The Court Case there was NOTHING limiting the Competition From using Blended Ingredients which had multiple Ingredients.
KEEP THIS in Mind C.H.S. TOLD Gloria p to Go to out and Find a BOXED item which contains the Majority of the Items of the 11 Herbs and Spices (So If C.H.S. instructed Gloria P to Go out and Find a Boxed ingredient then C.H.S. had already known it was available or used a Pre-Mixed item to develop the 11 Herbs and Spices.
Bill S. Marion Kay Re-worked the 99-x By Agreement with K>F.C. New Age to Drop the Court Action. The Court Case Only Got Heated AFTER C.H.S Died and NOT before as C.H.S. would have won any action against K.F.C. NEW AGE with the Proof they changed the Recipe. C.H.S. was allowed to use the Marion Kay in the K.F.C. He had Control of which was more than 370 at the Time He was using Marion Kay Chicken Seasoning ?
I understand that trying to Figure out a lower amount of Ingredients may be a Key BUT then You Should Look at Using 5 Items which work in combinations
Salt Pepper
Garlic and Onion
Sage and Savory
Rosemary and Thyme
ETC and ETC

Why Would One limited the Ingredient list to 5 items ? To show (as I've already done, to both my and my Wife's satisfaction) that the flavor profile of a Kentucky Fried Chicken 'like' nature can be evolved from 5 and doesn't require 11, or any Herbs. |

A better means of perpetual deception through misdirection and slight of hand could not have been devised than to introduce 6 non-essentials into an already vastly complex system involving a fundamental core of not more than 5 beyond the starting blocks of Salt and Pepper. |
