Really?? I don’t think so, Durkee changed over time. Nice try though.
Oldest tin I can find the ingredients on seems to be from the 50's
Durkee Poultry Seasoning 1950's:
Marjoram Salt Onion Powder Celery Seed Pepper Sage Savory Thyme
Durkee Poultry Seasoning 1970's:
Salt Marjoram Dehydrated Onion Celery Seed Black Pepper Thyme Sage Savory
Durkee Poultry Seasoning 2021:
Sage Black Pepper Thyme Coriander Summery Savory Allspice

Where is your 2024 Durkee's Poultry Seasoning List ? What possible relevance to 'your' contention that back in the day of early CHS OR chicken Sexton and Durkee Poultry Seasonings were similar? Seems merely to be diversionary obfuscation.

If I was a KFC operative, this poultry seasoning scam would be a great idea. It seems to have worked. And no corroboration, not even taste verification. It took them a few years to find an angle that would fool the simpletons. One thing for certain, the 1985 vials must be discredited to affirm this angle. No debate. Grace's won't fit.

C.H.S. indicated that certain seasoning from Stuffing was used in making the K.F.C. 11 Spices and Herbs
Poultry seasoning were and Have been used for 100 years in Stuffing recipes and listed in as far back as 1925 Recipes from Durkee's own recipe books and cards.
Both Durkee's and Sexton and others ALL had similar or like ingredients in 1940's
If people are Making there own Jamaican Pimento aka Allspice ?
Why can People not grasp the ingredient's from a Poultry season was NOT used as the Base items for the K.F.C. 11 Secret Ingredient's
C.H.S. indicated to Gloria P Go to the Grocery store and Find 1 BOXED item that contains the Ingredients to the K.F.C. 11 Spices and Herbs. REMEMBER she was looking in the Stores in the 1970's NOT the 1940's
So if 1 Box contained the Majority of the items in the K.F.C. Original Chicken recipe which C.H.S. Knew He obviously Knew what was in Seasoning back in the 1930's and 1940's when He was collecting the recipes and and clipping from the Magazines back then for recipes. or getting the recipe books by sending away for them as a promotional item from Durkee's and Other's
Listen to The Radio Shows of gloria P and Listen to what C.H.S. said to Her on the Air. Back then the Shows were LIVE not Pre-taped so C.H.S. was not scripted for a one on one conversation like other Shows.
The T.E.F. show they Did 2 Taped segments of the Broadcast. and was editted Gloria P was un edited

In the South, and CHS moved to the South when he moved to Kentucky, Onion, celery and sage were used for dressing (stuffing for you Yanks). If you ran low on sage, you used poultry seasoning. There isn't any onion or celery in Sexton's. The next angle for the Sexton fans is to add onion and celery to Sextons. Then one ingredient is needed to make 11. White pepper? Star anise (many love this one, an ingredient I never saw until I became an adult)? Anise? Clove?
Everything is back to TCK and the search for the last ingredient. They chose vanilla. Will they do it again?
