Just a thought but if I look at the picture either the 2-factories-story is complete BS or the ingredients are completely made up. What do you think?

After adjusting my last three seasoned flour blends, and tasting them mixed together, I'm convinced that CHS's kitchen looked like mine. Jar after jar of blended herb and spice blends, sitting around and mostly forgotten, as I moved on. Somewhere along the way, he mixed some together, whether the seasoning mixes, or the seasoned flour mixes, and struck gold. Each mix probably had approx. 11 ingredients, with all of them containing a different 11. Here he discovered that if he mixed this and that separate blend, and then mixed those together (melding would be important here) he had his "recipe". Having two companies mix the recipe, which were complete recipes (one or more), but not yet blended into one, he could obscure what he had done. When KFC used a lab to narrow down the flavors, CHS blew his stack. Salt is the key to bring out whatever KFC flavor we might be referring to.
An example is my three mixes. Each is good on its own, but different. Blended together I have a recipe that would be difficult for anyone to recreate, except for me.

It should be noted that this Arabic language KFC bag weighs 32 ounces. 907 grams = 32 ounces

How much flour does it season? How much salt goes with it?

Two factories may have been a thing in the distant past, but if the Arabic KFC bag isn't fake it shows that only one company is involved in fabricating the seasoning mix today.

I don't understand the logic here tbh. The customary practice is to disclose only the final packaging or production facility, regardless of the multiple sources involved. It's neither typical nor obligatory to list every individual source or component supplier in the process. The final manufacturer or processor is responsible for verifying that the product meets quality standards, including packaging, labeling, and any applicable regulatory requirements.
If company C mixes, packs, and seals seasonings sourced from A and B, company C becomes the sole responsible entity listed for the product. Check your pantry.
This sounds like a false dilemma to me.

It's hard to fault this logic.

Flour? Salt? The weightier matters of the law are often ignored.
