Nigella seed is being used in the recipe today. I picked black specs off the modern O.R chicken because i thought they were pepper and wanted to see how their pepper tasted (still don't know how they get their distinct pepper taste) but to my surprise i instead got the distinct taste of NIGELLA SEEDS!
And i have confirmed this over about 20 times picking them off and getting the nigella seed taste. Upon closer inspection, the chicken seems to be absolutely littered with the stuff.
This is by far the biggest discovery anybody has made imo. It confirms a literal ingredient that is NOT COMMON! with literal concrete proof which isn't hearsay. It also confirms to me that atleast some of the vials contain the literal herbs/spices.
It also proves the recipe has a level of sophistication. (how many people would think to put tiny specs of nigella seed on chicken?) I can see how Sanders came up with the idea, he baked bread, and then thought "hmm, these could go good on the chicken! but they are too large, maybe if i crush them into tiny specs it'll work like it does on bread!"

Also, this proves what a joke the TC34D recipe is LOL! closing down your whole forum, giving yourself a pat on the back, because you convinced yourself by literal guessing that you cracked the recipe lmao! not even close! Tahitian vanilla? 🤣

Bump: I love how everyone is just trying to pretend they didn't hear this FACT! go buy some of the O.R and see for yourself if you don't believe me. Although i am unsure if all the stores uses it, but i can confirm 100% my local one DOES! they do not put it on the other stuff, only the O.R!
FACT: There is a vial that contains a BLACK ingredient.
FACT: Sanders liked to bake bread!
FACT: I picked off, and tasted NIGELLA SEED! specs off the modern O.R chicken sold at my local store.
FACT: This disputes Sanders claim that the recipe only contains COMMON ingredients. Although, maybe the rest of the recipe is all common ingredients. Nigella seed, as far as i know, was NOT COMMON to anyone's pantry in those times.
FACT: This is the first ingredient to ever be revealed that literally has 100% concrete evidence to back it up. Every other ingredient anybody has ever mentioned is pure speculation and hearsay.

You would need to try any of the items which are hand breaded in house as we use all the same breading for the hand Breaded cooked items.
Items like the Popcorn chicken, and other Processed items are made off site which are also pre cooked in Main ways and they are also cooked in the Open Deep Fryers NOT the Pressure Cookers

I'm going on a spice run this weekend. I'll look for some nigella seeds.

Chickenman, I can just see the commodity market price for nigella seeds ticking up! I literally woke up early today tearing down the pantry for the yellow bag containing nigella seeds that I bought years ago. Similar to DFN101, I thought it unremarkable back then which prompted me to set it aside. Somewhat blandish like a cross between onion and pepper, if memory serves me correct? Maybe it was old stock that I bought. I’ll take a second look or perhaps find a grocery which adds it to their bread. Can you think of substitutions or synergistic combinations of the other herbs and spices to get the taste? I think I went to an Indian grocery to acquire it.

Nah, the taste of them is very unique/distinct. Almost has a grassy, oniony, oregano like taste. I got a big 500g bag of them cause they are quite cheap. I think buying them online is best way to get them cause no shop sells them in my area.

I don't like entities accessing my bank account. I'm a cash and carry guy. I also have no apps on my phone. I have no "Pike Pass" for the turnpikes, nor do I use my debit card to pay for anything. I only use it to get cash from my bank's local ATM, at no cost to me. I buy my checks and never pay a service charge at my bank. I am the last American Patriot. Only my hands enter my pockets, except for the government, of course, because I don't like jail food, and I like women. LOL
