Most effective thing he could do is have that bag of 99x analyzed. Try to ascertain it's contents. Then work back to his Uncle Harley stories etc.
And IF there is an old paper bag of what he thinks is the early 99x. Ask his daddy if he can have it. And do the same.

The other Forum reverse tested the 99-x after a fund raising exercise for the cost?
How Did that work
It seemed to Get some answers BUT they said the test DID NOT test many ingredient's ? So in honesty it was a partial test.
Share the results with Anthony from the 99-x TEST and see what He can figure out ?

Have him test his own bag. It’s likely still older than the product tested. And the piece to go after right away is the amount of salt. The testing was most solid on that. And consistent readings.
If there is less salt in his bag then 99x has changed since the bag. We know they reported it as less than 11% of volume in the late 70’s

I think it is odd that Yves and I, for years, looked for one exotic ingredient that would complete the note, with no interest from others. Now all of a sudden, the "11th exotic" ingredient is being discussed. It's just odd to me. Just name one, as Yves and I tried almost everything known to man. But, alas, no such ingredient will ever be revealed, because the whole thing is just another ruse.

Anthony must be Talking to Ken AKA Dustin (BOTH Ken and Dustin are the Same Person Proved by many viewers.
Anthony must some how have debunked HOW 10 Franchise Owners who spoke about adding Jamaican Ginger into the Mix NEW AGE K.F.C. changed and C.H.S. said that it was NOT Jamaican Ginger.
Also Tommy and Cherry Found Recipe was also containing LOTS of ginger in the Recipe? Tommy challenged the NEW AGE K.F.C. to a Cook off on TV and when the chicken was eaten on air NO one complained about the Ginger in the Cooked Chicken. Many also commented that Tommy and cherry Cooked chicken was more Flavor then the NEW AGE K.F.C.
ALSO Todd Wilbur used Ginger in his Copycat recipe and NOT one person was complaining His recipe was Bad. Many also voted for His Chicken and as better while the Judges felt K.F.C. was better.

I have Posted many times I will SHARE the Canadian INFO if He wants to see it BUT had NOT contacted for the info ? Anthony claims the Cooking time has changed from 8 Minutes with Old Pressure Cookers to 14 Minutes with the NEW MACHINES ? TOTALLY wrong The Old Pressure Cookers Pot Stove style had a 3 Minute Browning Time period First then approximately a # Minute Pressure Build Time before the Cooking time was Set ? which made the Cooking time 14 to 15 the same for the OLD Stove Pressure cookers and the AUTOMATED collectomatic which were all electronic and automated. So the TIME has NOT changed it's just ALL Automated. The Cooking Shortening Was Originally Beef Tallow, FAT which then went to Lard, and then Lard with Citric Acid, then Changed to many different styles of Vegetable Oils. WHICH even McDonalds Had to change to. Flour has changed many time BUT it changed More with the Leveling agents to make a more Crispy Coating ? K.F.C. New Age uses pastry Flour in 2023 He claims the 11 Herbs and Spices Did Not change BUT C.H.S. sued K.F.C. NEW AGE for Changing the Spices and Herbs READ THE LAWSUITS ?
