HINT: PEOPLE GARLIC SALT Does NOT have to BE disclosed as Garlic Salt, it Can BE labeled as SALT as LONG as They Usually LIST Natural Ingredients So you agree the 70s 99x would have Garlic without labelling it as such? It lists Salt and natural spices and herbs instead. It has BOTH Garlic and Onion Bill Summers Did say that the Majority of ALL spice Blends also Include Garlic and Onion |

No I Added the 2 bags of Flour to Prove that they changed from the Cake Pastry flour to a More Wheat Flour and they are using 25Lbs Bags.
I can say this as a Point of Fact.
Bags of Flour in the 1939-1940 ERA were package in 10Lbs Bags Sacks.
I Will look for the 10Lbs Bags from the Old Days BUT you Must understand The information I have in ON Different Computers and Some are OLD SCHOOL computers with Towers LOL. Hell I would even say ONE is a 386XP Tower with extra Memory sticks ( I know the young People will have to Google to see what that is ) NOT Laptops.
so somedays it takes viewing 5 machines for information.
I will Say this AGAIN just watch the Video and Listen to C.H.S. Words that SAY he checked to see if Franchise owners were trying to stretch the use of the Spices He sent BY adding 10LBS of Flour. That Video was from 1970's also.
I have also Posted the Mix Ratio's of Canada for 11Lbs of Flour on Many occasions. That is Still used in 2023

That Video was from 1970's also. You have to admit adding 10lbs of flour doesn't have to mean they started with 10lbs. I'd almost buy they started with 25lbs flour and added a 10lb bag. Most likely they purchased themselves to got to 35lbs flour. 1) They aren't halving the strength but stretching it by approx. 1/3. 2) I'm sure KFC kept track of the amount of flour and seasonings a franchise was purchasing to monitor loss and profits. So buying a 10lb bag from a local grocer supply and stretching may go unnoticed longer. |

C.H.S. Did NOT sell the Original Franchises FLOUR he instructed them which Flour to USE and which Salt to USE HE only sold the SPICE Bags.
C.H.S. Did NOT control how much Flour or Salt they Used as Many were restaurant's which also Baked item's BUT C.H.S. instructed them which Flour to use for the CHICKEN.
The Original Were 10Lbs Bags. The OLD Lugs of the 1940'sand 1950's Would NOT have held 35Lbs of Flour (view the TEF video that was the LUG size used) Remember this many franchise Owners were NOT cooking TONS of chicken like Leon Pete Harmon, some were using it as a Add on item. The kitchen back then cold NOT have Big Lugs Life the Kitchen NOW

I know they were 10Lbs Bags I hand unload skid Loads of Flour over my time period and Pour it into Lugs. there are OLD K.F.C. cooks who will ALL say 10Lbs Bags

I recall reading somewhere that KFC originally used 10 lb bags of flour. As a kid, stores sold flour in 2 1/2, 5 and 10 lb bags. Our bakery bought various grades of flour in 50 lb bags. Salt came in 25 lb bags. These were all dumped into 100 gallon barrels.

I can say this for reference point WHICH IS IMPORTANT.
What Year are YOU wanting Photo's of Flour Bags ?
They changed From when C.H.S. started originally in 1939 and used 10Lbs Bags of Flour, until 1960's and there were Larger bags in the Late 1950's and 1960's which you SEE printed in manuals. Keep In mind Most of the manuals YOU SEE are what Brown and Massey Developed NOT what C.H.S. used to train people

I Do Not speak to Anthony and Only know He was on this Forum ?
