Any old tins placed in the KFC museum are clearly suspect and irrelevant to the OR. They make for a nice show for the daily museum audience though.

Do Not rule Out what I have posted as Photo's TAKE A SERIOUS LOOK AT THEM.
YOU Do Not know why those Tins are in the Museum. You have NOT viewed C.H.S. Original Kitchen Photo that the Museum was Recreated From ?

Opening this thread to the 'maybe's'. Be careful with your choices, as there can only be 11 total H&S.

As For Paprika The Original Spice was Reddish ? Then why add the question mark? And doubly more so if you are in possession of the OR. If it's in the OR, don't beat around the bush and obfuscate/confound/confuse/taunt/misdirect us. The example photo you provide appears to be a rather more modern bag rather than 1960's, and thus is less likely to be red than an early bag that may have actually had Paprika. Just as for the viles having a strong blue cast when it should be white, a red cast is potentially merely an artifact of photography, exposure settings, bias, and (mainly indoor) lighting conditions. All indoor lighting contorts the color spectrum. And absent a flash (which often turns things blue), the indoor lighting distortion is often to the yellow/orange/red side of the spectrum. Photos and computer screens both render incorrect colors. I'm not buying the photo.

Check on the WAYBACK Machine regarding the Red Color old Seasoning
Gloria p on 5 T.V. Shows and Her Radio Show spoke about the Rose Red Color of the Original Chicken Cooked and the Red Seasoning makes the Chicken a Rose Red Original Color Not the NEW AGE K.F.C. Golden Brown Color.
OH and if someone could Dis-Prove the New Age K.F.C. Box which says Paprika on of the 11 Ingredients PLEASE Disprove it there are Thousands of People Auction Companies, Antique Dealers, and Memorabilia People who Buy the Old Boxes on the Auctions and Antique who verified that Boxes were a LIMITED ONE TIME PRINT, Payed for BY K.F.C. NEW AGE as a Promotion. OH by this Point the Cat was out of the Bag and K.F.C. had Printed a Bulletin regarding the Paprika Discoloring the Hydronated Vegetable Oil and they had Printed the Paprika Extract on Listed ingredient Tray liners in SOME COUNTRIES
Paprika is a spice made from dried and ground red peppers. Did Marion kay Not Print Red Pepper on the Old Bags of Marion Kay Chicken Seasoning ? Do NOT use The HOT Paprika Durkee's was the Original Brand C.H.S. used
so

Since most of what we have in writing and photos are circumstantial evidence at best. Best you can do is look to multiple sources for the same ingredients. For example. The early 99x bag lists Allspice. Glen gives allspice as an ingredient Pat used. Allspice tin exists in the museum (interesting enough with some pricing written on it). And the farthest stretch. You could fit allspice in the vials.
So does that mean Allspice is a 100% OR ingredient No. Does that mean it should be considered as a solid "maybe" until proven otherwise. Yes
Same logic applies to ginger.

How much faith do people put into corporate revealing 6 herbs and 5 spices? If so, what would be considered an herb. Or better labeled as one by CHS when he sold the recipe?
Would he have thought if paprika as a spice or perhaps a vegetable herb? Or straight vegetable

Are Nutmeg and Mace a team, or is it a one or the other proposition?

How much faith do people put into corporate revealing 6 herbs and 5 spices? If so, what would be considered an herb. Or better labeled as one by CHS when he sold the recipe? Would he have thought if paprika as a spice or perhaps a vegetable herb? Or straight vegetable For me it's no faith at all. After correcting the vials photo(s) for a white backgroung and then attempting to enhance the green I find it a streatch to eek out green within three vials.
