Thats a lot of salt. What did your significant other think of the saltiness of that chicken? cfc I just asked her, and she thought that the salt level was good, and that because it fit in so well it was not excessively salty.

I've promoted saltiness for many years. I'm using 40g for two cups of flour, and that doesn't seem enough. The saltiness needs to be in the breading more than the meat, IMO.

I was tasting it in the breading. I could taste it as standing out right up front, before even breaking through to the meat. I can't really say that the meat itself exhibited noticeable saltiness. It was enhancing the other flavors a lot.

34 grams of salt in 200 grams of flour would translate to 45 grams in 2 cups.

Ok with the risk it sounds like I live under a rock. What as JoJos? Potatoes that are generally merely quartered lengthwise, seasoned (and sometimes lightly breaded), and then deep fried. The full name is 'JoJo Fries'. But more and more of late you see them referenced only as JoJo's. Skin is always left on.
Short version: Very fat and most often seasoned and/or occasionally "seasoned breaded" 'French Fries' (or 'Chips', as most of the known world likely knows them).
Edit: I generally dislike them because they are always quite mushy in comparison to a typical 'French Fry/Chip'. I cut them up crosswise in about 1/4" (~6mm) slices and fry them the next morning and thereby morph them into 'Home Fries', as they are totally delicious in that capacity. I'm a mega-fan of breakfast 'Home Fries'.
