Ken now believes that there is ZERO Ginger in KFC OR. He also seems to think now Black and White Pepper count as single items within the 11.

I question some of the ideas that 1/16 of certain ingredients would be detectable in 25lbs of flour as well.

I've been busy as a beaver. Derrick Wilson said ginger was code for garlic. I'm working on a "wild hair" to address those darn vials. Any way you cut slice and dice it, the two peppers cannot be in separate vials. But if they are in the same vial, does that mean that other elements are doubled up? I've always said that the light colored vials are a "key" to a code. They can't both be ginger, mustard, garlic, onion, white pepper, even turmeric.....or can they? Two peppers in one vial? Was the phrase 11 Ss&Hs just a ruse to obscure that there were 22? If cut in half, then nobody could ever figure out the OR. Then the hint that there were 6 herbs, but only three are ever shown/mentioned anywhere one looks. Graces and Sexton's hinted at 3 and 4. Ledington's and the Vials hint at 3, maybe 4.

I may have dreamed it, but I believe that about a year or a bit more ago Dustin came forward and stated (rather shockingly) that if ginger is in the secret recipe it must be in there at a much lower level than had previously (as for his recipe featured by Glen) been envisioned. This was the first shot fired. Now Ken has went in for the kill shot. Let those who proclaim from the rooftops that Ginger should be added in massive amounts far beyond current norms let loose the return fire in defense of Ginger.
But beware that ginger at high heat decomposes into a molecule that highly resembles Eugenol. Then envision that your recipe likely already has an abundance of Eugenol.

I've already mentioned that the recipe I made to specifically duplicate the "add 4 Oz. of extra Ginger" story was the worst deep fried Chicken recipe I ever made. And my Wife fully agreed with my sentiment. And if not for the extra Ginger it would have been mainstream, as in likely delicious.

Tbh there was one time i mixed up a recipe with no ginger and thought it smelt stronger, ginger does seem to dampen the spice mix alot.
