GINGER ROOT or Ginger ?
Tommy Settle Told OFF K.F.C. New AGE in Court, that Ginger is NOT a Dressing item its in the Chicken Recipes and Lots of it ?
Its Funny they Did a COOK OFF on LIVE TV and no one NO one complained about the Chicken Tommy and Cherry S cooked on TV they never complained about the GINGER which Tommy said had lots in the recipe.
WE USE as HIGH as 35% in some chicken wings and ONLY once we go over 35% you get the Real power of the Ginger and we use a HIGH Grade Ginger Root From Jamaica .
Our Ginger Beef Recipes USE way more then 35% for a Ginger Beef taste

The thread Changed from the Comment on How I think East Freisen and other FEEL about the other forum and Kens Change and comment about Pepper.
As for Ginger. The Quality and Type of Ginger can Vary so much it's a difficult item to control in someway especially if your using Fresh or Ginger Root Fresh. If your using Powders it can be more consistent until you run out of the Powder you were using.
We get our Fresh Ginger from a Asian Market and from month to month you can get Quality variant's of Bitter depth from the Ginger. We really notice it in our Ginger sauce we make and when it effects the Ginger sauce YOU KNOW it effects the Chicken Coating also ? ? ?
THE FUNNY thing I follow and view is. The Dave W story regarding the Ginger was BEFORE the K.F.C. craze of copycat recipes and was a interview off the cuff explain the Difference it made ?
The court Room jargon Tommy S threw back at K.F.C. was his frustration of NEW AGE K.F.C. Bull crap he knew was WRONG and PROVED it when he cooked on GOOD MORING AMERICA chicken COOK-OFF. Many people commented that The chicken try cooked was BETTER then the K.F.C. with NO complaint of Ginger overload. Tommy commented there was LOTS of Ginger in that receipt.
I know Ginger is a acquired taste and a overload can be noticed MAJOR like your explaining silver. I would Do a second test of the same recipe to compare NEW ginger.

I really can't understand why folks ignore some of the information made available to them. At minimum exhaust that it doesn't apply.

I will keep adding Ginger to EVERY recipe we are making and Mustard and NOT worry about what others Think or Care its working for Our Recipes and That's ALL our customers care about.
Principally we are using lots of Ginger and averaging over 20% and Our Mustard Seed is also 13% and we are having Great results with BOTH items

Glen & Friends and the other Food YouTube who tested Multiple recipes which used Ginger
Both said that the Ginger Recipes had Similar Taste to KFC
and Glen's Recipe ingredient list show's GINGER ?

To my knowledge, no one has ever directly applied analytical data and derived a dead ringer knockoff KFC OR clone from it. Or most likely even something that comes fairly close. Ask JWOZ if he has accomplished this, given his intricate knowledge of purported actual ingredients and their ratios.
