I keep Getting People who are Private Messaging that Ginger is NOT in the Original Recipe ?
I will say if YOU want to FOLLOW in Ken aka Dustin's distraction follow that Path.
There have Been to many Verified discussing which Say Ginger is in the Original Recipe.
Let's start with C.H.S. "they are using Crap Ginger" Dave W " 4oz Ginger", Dave Thomas, Bill S Marion Kay, Tommy S "Lots Of Ginger", Elua "2 Tablespoon" Claudia L recipe " 1 Tbsp." Todd Wilbur C.M.T. Video "1/2 Tsp. Ginger"
O.K. listen to ONE Person Ken aka Dustin Let me know how the recipes are ?
Ask him how so many Printed article over decades say the similar story Ginger was in the recipe.
Good Morning America Where Tommy and Cherry made the found Recipe which K.F.C. said was wrong NOT the Original HAD A TON of Ginger in the Recipe and NO one complained the PEOPLE eating the Chicken said it was Great and Better then the K.F.C.
I guess Do your own Testing and trials
Ginger is required in the Colonel Sanders Fried Chicken Recipe

Ken aka Dustin Is OFF and DOES suggesting Clues which have NO merit or Fact
FIRST HE NEEDS TO CALL THE first Recipe BY THE FIRST NAME and then Properly refer To the 1905 FDA act as what Herbs, Spices, Seasoning ARE ? NOT WHAT HE THINKS.
He is making reference to Brown and Massey BAGS NOT the Original Kentucky Fried Chicken Bags and Has Never Seen the Original Marion Kay Chicken Seasoning Bags ?
Ken AKA Dustin Has NEVER SEEN A ORIGINAL Kentucky Fried Chicken Recipe Seasoning Bag and has NO CLUE what it says or Looks Like.
