By eating them side by side, my reckoning is that KFC OR's salt level within the confines of the soft crust is at or above 29 grams when scaled to 200 grams of flour.

Extracts can cut the Real items volume Down to 3-5% of real weight
Salt as a carrier or Starches which are used more NOW for the Crispy texture weight less then the Salt typically.
I would NOT Go crazy on the BAG sizes as it only becomes a representation of amount added and increased or decreased from the Same BASE.
Look at how many people say the 99x recipe is MUCH to low compared to what ALMOST EVERYONE says BUT FROM A MARKETING the recipe on the can is more appealing to the Pocket Book Value of how much you get.
Once the Great Base is made the amount of seasoning flows with how much you used of if its a Zinger Batch ?
