You must have got a Special Bag to some sour cream taste.
I have said to everyone YOU would have a Better Taste of KFC with Potato chips by mixing sour cream from your fridge and your homemade 11 Spice and Herb mix and make a CHIP DIP home made more flavor then Ruffles attempt and cheaper the Ruffles High Price

Potato Chip Thought  Snoop-Dog Recipe Ingredients send grocery list 4 pounds chicken wings Brine: 1/3 cup granulated sugar 1/3 cup kosher salt 1 bay leaf 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes Peel of 1 orange Frying: 2 cups all-purpose flour 1/4 cup cornmeal 1/4 cup crushed potato chips 2 teaspoons cracked black pepper 2 teaspoons garlic powder 2 teaspoons kosher salt, plus more 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 2 cups buttermilk |

I made this. Its an ok chicken recipe, nothing spectacular imo.

Not knocking your critique BUT it has been cooked against Most other Chicken Recipes and Won each time hands down, So my point is it must have some good qualities to beat so many other Challenges on the YouTube ?
Only a opinion that can be tested by others and reviewed for FREE on this Site ?

Pringles Potato Chips Pizza Flavored were tested against Ruffles KFC Potato chips.
It was a smaller test 40 people and out of 40 people ALL 40 thought the Pringles Potato Chip pizza Flavor was the One that best tasted like KFC
There was NO ONE who picked the Ruffles KFC potato Chips.
Also a Side NOTE we mixed 11 Spice and Herbs Seasoning Copycat Version with Sour Cream to make a 11 Spice and Herb Dip and people loved it Said it was unreal and more KFC flavor then the Potato Chips and you can use Regular Ripple Plain chips. The sour cream Dip we are now adding as a dip for wings and it is becoming a FASST Favorite from Customers who try it

11 Spice & Herbs and Seasoning - Wing & Dip Version
1 tsp. Black Pepper
½ tsp. White Pepper
1/2 tsp. MSG
1 tsp. curry powder
1 tsp. mace
1 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. marjoram (spice)
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. sage
1/2 tsp. savoury
1/2 tsp. thyme
8 tsp. barbecue spice
12 tsp. seasoned salt
12 tsp. poultry seasoning
Please NOTE* We mix a large Volume as we mix the same Mix into Flour for Dredge that we Mix into Sour Cream.
We Add the Above Mix to Flavor the Sour Cream and / or Wings Flour Dredge No Specific Measurement

I was asked about this Original posting over the weekend by a third party. Which was in 2022 They occasionally bring back the Potato chip to stores which are over priced. I was asked if we ever used the Chips crushed into powder and used in flour. YES we have tested it and it was Great chicken and had some flavor of the KFC but lower level We had more Luck mixing the KFC and a Pizza flavored chip crushed and some Lipton's Chicken Soup mix Powder to get a STRONGER Flavor in the Ingredient YOU SEE Turmeric and Paprika used AND IT DOES NOT SAY FOR COLOR purpose so they are using the TWO for Flavor    |

I never thought about it, but I should take some of my KFC seasoning and mix it with sour cream to get a dip for others to try. See if they can ID the flavor.
