Not everything that CHS said about the OR necessarily involved only the 11 secret herbs and spices. In fact, very little probably did. Just like any cuisine, there is a basic recipe, usually involving onions, garlic, celery, etc., then there are the seasonings, as in herbs, spices and other condiments added for flavor.
In the old days, all of these elements listed below were found in every kitchen cupboard.
Thus dressing items, in my family, would be onion , celery and sage. Italian dressing ingredients would certainly involve sage, rosemary, oregano, etc. And in the South, pickling spice would have been used to make pickled sausages, which I have made many times, along with pickled eggs and sweet pickles. There are many variations of pickling spice, but allspice, clove, black pepper, coriander, ginger, mustard seed, cinnamon, crushed red pepper and bay leaves are among the elements used.
CHS never said "breakfast or Italian or Polish sausage", unless I'm mistaken.

C.H.S. often commented about the Sausage He used and it was NOT Breakfast, Italian, or Polish Sausage. He was as particular about the Sausage, He used as the Ham's He selected. It was Only purchased from a select supplier Butcher in the 33 to 45 Era.
Dustin AKA Ken was Given ALL the information regarding the Sausage and Either choose NOT to Post it or kept the information for HIS own USE.
Maybe He can be asked about the Sausage ?

It isn't the sausage that is of interest, but the flavorings used to make the sausage. Using sausage for breakfast plates doesn't mean that that was the sausage CHS "lifted" spices and herbs from. Absolutely no nexus there at all.

It is relevant to everything when the spices that are in the sausage He used were also incorporated into the Chicken recipe which was the Point that C.H.S. was making with the comment:
"I know you take Certain seasoning from sausage certain seasoning from stuffing, and you could take combinations of some of those seasoning and you could get another good seasoning and that’s where I developed My Chicken Recipe"
Certain Seasoning from Sausage and certain seasoning from Stuffing directedly apply to where he made his Chicken Recipe ANYONE can twist the words the way you want BUT C.H.S. repeated this often in Canada and was Proud to say He made the Recipe from testing the items his family enjoyed first in combination with the other seasoning like sausage and stuffing seasoning.
When you review when C.H.S. cooked Stuffing at his own Locations and when He made it for mission Turkey Dinner The Key items were Bread, Fresh Onion, Salt, Pepper, Sage, Thyme He was NOT shy to share the recipe. As for the Fork lord that His mother used Sage and Savory in the Dressing or was it stuffing that the secretary mentioned IT's FUNNY he Did NOT use Savory in His own making Stuffing on the Missions Cooking as Savory was NOT as relevant in many locations BUT in Canada we used it LOTS ?
Take the information with what YOU want and HOW you want to or NOT BUT it's HARD CORE FACTS.
C.H.S. Did not use a Breakfast sausage for cooking either, He was Very select with the Sausage he served just like the ham he served had to be select type.

It is a stretch to assume that CHS used only one type of sausage. Show me proof that he used only "one" sausage. Cooking sausage for breakfast does not preclude CHS from using pickled sausage which is quite prevalent in the South. It's like you try to direct folks away from one direction towards another, but never reveal that other direction. You want to knock down, but never help rebuild. You have this vast knowledge, but never show the source of it. Put up or shut up.

I Do Not have time to find it while Harvesting Crops and Combining Grain's BUT Ken aka Dustin has had it for YEARS and should Post it instead of keeping it for his person information which he is doing ?

LMAO Willie you Do not know what C.H.S. had in Canada and what he did to work with the Canadian Franchiser and the Missions.
You Don't even know what His Dog's name was?
The Difference is the Past interaction's while he was Canada that He had and His Missions work which He continually helped Us with and His Time's He spent in Alberta LMAO. I would NOT have accumulated So many of His personal effects If there was Not interaction With Ton's of The People who have been around C.H.S. and Claudia. Our Interactions Go way Deeper then Blood Family which Has NO clue, and Do Not even want to come to Canada Which Has More history of C.H.S. then Other countries.
As for Did C.H.S. have a Garden which ONE Do you want to know about ?
