I did ride along with C.H.S. in a car yes on Mission Trips.
What's more important is the conversations with C.H.S. and Claudia.
What People do not grasp is Claudia had tons of conversation with People, and let many things slip out that are imperative to understanding the Process.
Claudia was instrumental with Packaging the spices and mixing the seasoning. She Commented many times when there was a issue C.H.S. always knew what to do. She explained the times when they had spice issues.
There has been comments that they stirred the spice and herbs with a Scoop shovel in the Old M.S.G. Drums. That is FULL of Crap anyone who have worked on a Farm and had items shipped in a 45 Gallon drum KNOWS you cannot stir or scoop anything from a Drum of any style and IT DOES NOT WORK. You used a Broom Handle, Rake handle, Hockey Stick. If you needed to Mix things you used a Garden Hoe.
If the Barrel was on the side or angle to the side a scoop shovel or spade could be used. Also the Issue with a Drum is Getting the Spice and Herb out of the Barrel when its down to the 35% amount. your reaching into a drum 2 feet down. ( have any of you tried to scoop water from a NON Draining Washing machine with a small container because you did not have a wet vacuum to vacuum the water out the less the water gets the harder to remove it ? Same with spices and herbs.
C.H.S. was very vocal with what He did traveling from Location to location and being rejected 1000 times BUT he also said that MOST places Did NOT have chicken and he supplied it from His Ice Chest where chicken was brined. Back in that Day he had to Use FRESH chicken and Brine it as Ice was not easy to get ( C.H.S. words)

Our bakery ingredients came in 100, 50 and 25 gallon barrels or buckets. Also we received ingredients in 100, 50 and 25 lb bags or boxes (pecans, chocolate chips). The individual ingredients were poured into the empty barrels. In fact, the bigger barrels probably had been around for years.

Members of Ken's forum crucified me (for other reasons), basically for pointing out that Grace's is 99% Sexton's Poultry Seasoning. They are buzzing like bees. But here, it is stone quiet. Sure makes a fellow wonder. Glen's videos that displayed Grace's and Canada's KFC ingredients, show that all of the ingredients actually were found in Sexton's, except white pepper, and msg. These folks must really think we're that stupid.
When you all get over the shock, we can get back to business. There must be many "dual" memberships on both forums. If so, then of course they must be quiet over here to hide their ruse. I think the powers that be are antagonistic towards anyone trying to discovering the OR. Why? Chemicals? Don't really know the OR any more? Couldn't withstand the competition? Who knows.

It's the Season of Catering and We had a New Mobile Smoker Built so Doing Test Cooking.
Sexton was Definitely Part of the Puzzle BUT DO NOT look past the Durkee's Poultry Seasoning as Durkee's was Used First not Sexton as the Mixing Company for C.H.S. and Claudia

While the minions follow the Grace's Pied Piper, I still have my nose to the grindstone. I'm cooking the "pre-mix" recipe later. I have one more recipe using tomato, then I have a final recipe with 19 ingredients (with msg, and an herb mix), or 18 without msg. I have shifted everything to a cast iron skillet to get to the basics. I have always been interested in ingredients which, one way or another, have been systematically eliminated from all of these commercial chicken franchisees.
It has become obvious to me that crushed whole herbs, onion, a good amount of ginger, and tarragon, are quite important, but rarely used. DFN has the pre-mix recipe. I'm cooking it next. I took a large chicken breast and am cooking it now in the CrockPot, with Sexton's, and toasted black pepper salt. We'll see, once and for all, if poultry seasoning, which is for turkey dressing, is the OR that we have looked for.

That large chicken breast in the CrockPot tastes real good. I'll shred it an use it for burritos and tacos, with my fermented pico de gallo.

while I agree that Sexton makes a Great poultry Seasoning Durkee's is Far superior.
Durkee's was the First Company C.H.S. and Claudia used after they stopped Home mixing the Original Recipe when it became to much for Claudia.
I have been Putting together ALL the PROOF for C.H.S. comments and Quote's He used in Articles and Radio or T.V.
I will Release some Information from Bill S and Winston S. that will show and Prove the Hand Written recipe quotes and phrases were all tied together.
C.H.S. maintained K.F.C. locations and the Settles locations which Claudia Ran.
People are NOT giving C.H.S. credit for How smart He was. He was Two steps ahead of NEW AGE K.F.C.
Why Did Brown Help C.H.S. settle the Lawsuit ? Brown Had the Proof that Huebin Broke the CONTRACT.

Cooking the "pre-mix" recipe now. But that last one I cooked will become my base recipe. With a pressure cooker, it just might be the OR. Really good chicken.
