I've discovered today that onion just might be key to the note. I don't think paprika adds much to the flavor, and is wasted space. CHS said that, among other things, his recipe originated from "dressing". Down here we don't call it stuffing unless you stuff the bird with it. If cooked separate, as we do, it is "dressing". Turkey dressing = Onion, celery and sage, or poultry seasoning. Why have most of us avoided these ingredients? Misinformation.

But Silver DFN101 talked to Karl about the photo. And Karl is an honest man. But I think one of them isn’t Graces perfect Blend is 12 Ingredient's Not 11 secret herbs and spices. The Only Other place 12 spices were used was 99-x which Bill S Marion kay stated in multiple interview's photo of Grace's 12 Spices which Karl said are the 12 Spices ? which is posted on the web page so knock your self out trying to check them like the 11 Vials from similar time period ?  |

Have any of you noticed that some people will always remove onions from a hamburger, or a sandwich, or will shy away from dishes that contain onion, all because they hate onions? What if onion actually made up the major part of the note? This would have been the one ingredient that would require the most secrecy, not only to hide it's importance, but also to not arouse those customers who have a prejudice against onions. Misinformation, Ledington's, Grace's, 99X, gimmicks, all of these media pundits, but never onions.
All of my past recipes, whether chili, or chicken, or tabouli, or steak seasoning, or BBQ rub, or BBQ sauce, all contained onion, but not KFC? Is it onion aroma that was always detected outside of a KFC restaurant? Could be.

Willie Onion and Garlic are BOT considered Preferential Spices NOT mandatory listed items BY ANY FDA or CFIA and international Food Safety or Trade administrated or tax laws.
Celery is a Listed Allergen in Some Countries BUT Garlic, and Onion are BOTH food safe and the Garlic or onion are safe NOT mandatory to be listed.

Pat spoke much different than Karl and was A much different style of person to associate with than Karl.
Which is the Same as dealing with Marion Kay Bill S was Unreal and JR was also different while Kordell is still a Junior in industry BUT learning well how to Run a family Company.
Both Karl and Kordell are Great nice People BUT FAR from the Original Fathers
I have Been around the Industry For More decades than Most and Had the Personal Interactions WITH the Original of the Originals and Great interactions Long standing.
Dealing with these Original MEM they all had THE same confidence in a Handshake deal and A MANS WORD MEANS SOMETHING, and if We communicated in Private it Stayed Private.
NOW outside the Personal relationship I have Had I have acquired a Passion for the Memorabilia and the Vintage and History of more than KFC ALL the Memorabilia is NOT part of the Original Handshake deal and the NDA are NOT part of the Issue with many people who must tread on broken egg shells. KFC NEW AGE had a 50 Million Dollar Legal Team Protecting a Billion Dollar Franchise.
Why Has KFC NEW AGE not going after Grace's Perfect Blend or Marion kay. KFC NEW AGE settled with Marion Kay in a Lawsuit and Karl Lost in a lawsuit and had both had Conditions associated with the Legal battle. The same Holds with Famous fried Chicken They Lost the Motion in Court and were ORDERED to STOP certain things.
The Settler inadvertently poked the KFC BEAR when they though they were Doing a HONORABLE thing asking the KFC NEW AGE they may have had the Original Recipe and the PANIC LAW HAPPY KFC NEW AGE went Ex-Parte to the Court and GOT a Court Order before Settle KNEW WHAT HAPPEN.
Now willie would Understand what Ex-Parte is and what court procedure is.
The NEW AGE were able to control the situation Immediately
BUT YOUR missing the WHOLE part of the Case and What KFC NEW AGE stated the recipe the Settle Had was MISSING 5 or 6 items The NEW AGE KFC at NO point indicated the items that were on the LIST WERE WRONG THEY SAID that the recipe was MISSING 5 or 6 items.
Willie Maybe YOU as a Lawyer Can explain the Difference in wording and Why the Legal Team said what they SAID ?

Ex-parte is when one party goes to a Judge and secures a ruling, or order, without participation of any other party. It is frowned upon, but this is what they did to Trump in the New York trial (property evaluation) when the State was granted Summary Judgment, without Trump's participation. But who can afford an appeal? Trump. Settles didn't have the money.
It seems that we always get back to square one, as Yves and I always did, looking for that one item, or group of items, that gave that "bite". I'm beginning to see that this is what all of these lawsuits involved. Just what did they insist be kept out? And why were the KFC legal threats so powerful, that non-parties grudgingly obeyed? DFN, according to your claims, you have the answers. What are the missing ingredients we have been led to dismiss?
I will maintain, until the day that I die, that the chicken I ate in 1959 is not what is made now, and is not contained within these mixes promoted by these other companies. My chili without any certain ingredient (except cumin, a must) would taste similar to my chili, like similar to the note, but would not be quite right. What will make KFC chicken right?
