Getting ready to cook two recipes. One with browned breasts which I put in CrockPot, and one brined with another mix, to be fried tomorrow. Neither are 99X or Graces's.

...the taste of my most recent chicken? Why I'm glad you asked... I'll just call it modified Grace's. LOL. It was much better than modern KFC. Does that mean it was better than Grace's? Heaven forbid. Can't sell crap in America with that kind of information. LOL

I have never declared anything about Grace's Perfect Blend and NEVER once said it's the Old recipe that is for sure.
with your experience of Chili seasoning YOU would Make some close Old style KFC

I'm not taking a test. Joe Blow says "Grace's is as close to KFC (holding today's KFC chicken) as you can get". It ain't folks. You're being conned. Ken's forum, with members on this forum, is promoting Grace's. If it was close to the OLD KFC, the testers would have been doing cartwheels.

This is what I found inside the back cover of "Vitamin Bible". I believe I got up in the middle of the night in 2016 and wrote it down on the first thing I found to write on.
Word for word:
The O.R.
* Ledington's - 1 TBS
Msg - 1 TBS
White pepper - 1 TBS
Black pepper - 1 TBS
Aromatics - 1 TBS
Salt - 1 TBS
for two cups of flour
* from larger batch

And after all of these years, I have failed to guide people (using various angles) into researching Ledington's. The big dogs always led people away from it (which will happen again). I found/find it very suspicious. And just like they did on TCK, claiming that they all cooked the vanilla recipe and approved of the flavor, many now come forward verifying that Grace's is the OR, but I don't believe these folks have actually cooked the recipe. They just follow the party line, as all Democrats do (I'm Independent).

Grace's perfect Blend was a 99x mix
It is NOT the original recipe Your paying for a Expensive Seasoned flour blend
We have tested Grace's perfect blend and added extra 99-x to the Seasoned flour for a Zing Style Original KFC which was listed in the Oldest KFC Manuals Printed.
Mixing Grace's Perfect Blend and 99-x makes a Better KFC version chicken.
BUT if You want something cheaper and similar to a NEW AGE KFC made at Home
Take Todd W second recipe and add some of Dustin Recipe mix BOTH together and you will have a NEW AGE KFC (you can make it at home for cheaper than buying Grace's Perfect Blend and 99-x
