Caraway is 100% in the recipe. For me it wasn't "hmm maybe this works good idk, oh wait i think it works good". It was "100% without a doubt this is in the 11h/s" It was crystal clear at what it did to the cooking aroma and taste. The flavour and aroma it adds for me is literal signature O.R. And a massive crucial piece of the O.R puzzle. The scientific method demands that the potential for falsifiability must always be present, and as such it leaves no room for assertions that are 100% certain. And if there are multiple paths to a common end, then any single path can not be assigned 100% status. 100% seems to be more of a faith oriented assertion...

That said, there is (per CHS) a circa 1939 O.R., and it would indeed factually list the actual circa 1939 ingredients, but the question which remains is: Did CHS reveal it to anyone (including here KFC), or did he take it to the grave?

I say 100% because i am fully convinced on it and never changing it, so it is 100% for me. Everyone else can feel free to disagree with me but my taste doesn't lie and is all the proof i need to know caraway is in the recipe. I have experienced and know what it does in the spices/herbs i use. Marjoram is my new 100%r to replace oregano, it is obvious as day to me that it is one of the 11h/s. Oregano is just too "spaghetti/ pizza itallian" in it's flavour.

The Caraway has to be used at a proper quantity to much will over power the recipe
In the Last shipment from Wholesale Spice (Butcher Supply) supplier the Caraway it was so Powerful we had to cut the amount we use in ALL our recipes between 30% +/- 40%.
We added our Old remaining Caraway with the New Arrival of Caraway and sifted it, Which made the New Caraway toned Down.
I ordered another Bag of Caraway from the wholesale (Butcher Supply) compared the spice bag and lot # to the Bag I just received and it was the same Lot # and Batch. The Wholesale said they changed suppliers from the last month and the Caraway was the NEW SUPPLIER, I asked what other spices are NEW Supplier source. They had Sage, Mace and Celery Seed.
I ordered ALL the New bags of Spices, Sage, Mace, Celery Seed, upon Opening the Bags the Difference was MIND BLOWING and Almost overpowering compared to ANY SPICE we have had.
Quality was some of the Highest we have had in a long time BUT there was a PRICE INCREASE ALSO.
