If it was a singular name, then no Onion or Celery, if it has to be Garlic.
But then Garlic will weigh more than the herbs and spices ?
It works as an adjective too, but what can we consider vegetable herbs ?
Salt was mentioned before MSG.

What would it mean to be a vegetable herb? Herbs are leaves.

And if it was a noun, why there was no comma after vegetable.

If the peppers were concentrated extracts, which I suspect to be the case, even in the 60s, (which includes the year 1969), salt could be equal to the white pepper amount and the labeling would be correct.
Salt could also have been an extract carrier. Did Wm. Stange help produce this bag? I can’t tell, and also can’t read the weight, which is perhaps one lb 10oz bag and considerably smaller than the 2020, which may be a 38 oz bag.

What would it mean to be a vegetable herb? Herbs are leaves. In my opinion it could only legally mean the leaves taken from plants that also produce vegetables. Such as Celery Leaves, Parsley Leaves, Beet Leaves, Carrot Leaves, and others...

This Bag weighs 25 Lbs with Salt, MSG and spices.
Usually they add a seasoning bag (26, 32, 40 Oz) plus salt to 25 Lbs Flour, that means they have produced amounts of seasonings less than 26 Oz in the 60s too.

Is the current KFC 'Salt' bag 2-1/2 Lbs., or is it still 3 Lbs.?
For bonus points, how many ounces of 'Salt' are present within the current 26 ounce 'H&S' bag?

DT It was either corporate seasoned flour plus salt, or regular flour plus corporate seasonings plus salt, in my understanding. However, due to the flour leaching and oxidizingthe oils away and dissipating the flavor, franchises were forced to “zing” the seasoned flour with a little extra seasoning, but i don’t think that was a special bag size.
