The Promotion was 6 years Before CHS started using the 11 Spice and Herbs ?
If CHS used the similar words that Durkee's used except uses 11 instead of 12
Where do you think the word DRESSING came from
in the 1930 there were NUMBEROUS NUMBEROUS Dressing recipe books available BUT NO Stuffing Recipe BOOKS ?
its interesting that Durkee's uses 12 Undisclosed Spices and Herbs which have been Marinade for 6 Months OH they Make a EXTRACT ? HUM just typing outloud ?

If you look up the modern ingredients list for 'Durkee® Famous Sauce' you will see that it now has zero herbs and/or spices. They have all been replaced with extracts.

Yes they have been doing that for a long time
They started using the extracts in Mayo and Mustard liquid spreads and Bottled Salad Dressing as the extracts blend and mix much more even in a liquid based item compared to little particles that would NOT dissolve easy. When they were using Pure spices they had to go through a extra step with mixing and dissolving the Particles which was a added cost, which when making 10 of thousands of Gallons and Time if becomes a HUGE cost increase.
Yes the extracts cost more BUT they have it down to use only 3% extract to gain a 20% Pure spice equivalent
BUT then Cost Analysis broken down using a higher cost item verse Less Pure spice and 1 less physical labor and Line tie up plus kicking salable items out much quicker its a NO BRAINER

Have you ever heard of 'Blue Plate Sandwich Spread'? A guy who said he worked at McDonald's a good while back (when the Big Mac was young) claimed that he traced the shipping address for Big Mac "Special Sauce" (as seen on the boxes it comes in) straight back to Blue Plate's address, and a few other web sources say that they are right close in taste.

Would not surprise me at all. Big Mac sauce is basically Mayo and sweet relish. There is a copycat recipe from Todd Wilbur and it is incredibly close. I can post it if you're interested.
