As the lap analyse said: Flour, Salt, MSG and Pepper!
Those are the most important ingredients in the recipe, get them right first, get them PERFECT, and use only fresh not frosen chicken.

DT 53My best recipe to date! Smell was perfect, Taste perfect, I am bloody close to bring the real thing as I remember it of course, and by this recipe I made great revolution against the old school concepts, was I happy with it ?! sure! I am still missing something but, yah, it was finger lickin good! Its clear to me now, that much work must be followed, there are simply toooo many herbs and spices profiles that I need to explore further. Happy frying KFC Replicator! Deep Taste The recipe is no longer accessible. Would you be so kind as to post it again (or to post your current best recipe).

Some tips:
-Perfection pressure frying technics is a must, deep frying is out of the question, it is not original, and you will not get the original recipe by deep frying your chicken even if you have Colonel Sanders recipe in your hands.
-After perfection pressure fried chicken, you will notice that, no matter what you add, you will get always a tasty chicken.
-Start with Flour, Salt and Pepper, don't overpower those, you need a fine favoure that completes the chicken flavour and not overwhelms it.
-Onion and Garlic are not for me, they don't belong to the original note I seek, and I won't be using them anymore.

There has been many people who question the Garlic and Onion with KFC and more over I have this question for the Historians of CHS show me a recipe where CHS was NOT using one of the two items. There were Minced, chopped, dehydrated onions in his recipes.
Garlic and Onions were regional seasonal items that were used in almost every old recipe ?
even CHS Dressing had extracts

We have a special in house sausage we make which would be clos to a Farmers Sausage on most Markets Butchers make.
if you follow CHS life and understanding CHS Father who Died at CHS age of 5 was a Butcher and CHS MOTHER helped him in the Butchering Prior to her Husbands Passing.
CHS Could Butch a Chicken Faster then any Butcher and Hand Cut his Own Steak.
CHS also has Pork Sausage on his Menu which he made.
