A example: M.S.G was advertised for Vegetables Seasoning first, They Never Promoted it for Fried Chicken until after the 1950's. This statement is a bit oversimplified to say the least. In the 30s and 40s, MSG was advertised as of vegetable origin, not for "vegetables first" or primarily. For any savoury dish. Also, chicken consumption rose substantially after WWII. It is understandable that you would make your potential customer aware your product is especially great in fried chicken as well when that is the general trend. However, this does not mean it was never used or suggested to be used in fried chicken before the 50s as you imply. |

If you Read the Original Advertisements released for the USE of M.S.G it was for flavor enhancement of Vegetables.
Then Meats BUT they Did not mention the use for Fried chicken until 1950's

If you Read the Original Advertisements released for the USE of M.S.G it was for flavor enhancement of Vegetables. Then Meats BUT they Did not mention the use for Fried chicken until 1950's Guess what, I have read them, because I don't just make bloody claims. So either you haven't researched thoroughly enough, or you are simply lying. There are many ads for Ajinomoto from the early 30s and for Ac'cent from the 40s available.     |

NOT TRUE. IT WAS ADVERTISED FOR ANY SAVORY DISH.

TRUE
Technically, it was not after the 50s but already in the 50s. But I'll give you that.

ABYONE WHO wants to view the ad's can request the Photo in Private and I have sent the Ad's already to 10 People in Private.
M.S.G. was listed as a Ingredient to make dishes more Flavoring BUT was FIRST suggested for VEGETABLES
then they suggested for MEATS and then for Fries Foods in the 1950's.
25 years ago while in contact with 'Aji-No-Moto they were kind enough to send copies of The oldest ad's they and photo's of the Original Barrels used in the 1950's and 1930's PLUS other information which PROVED the Barrels C.H.S. used were Originally M.S.G. barrels.
I was the FIRST person to Suggest the Barrels were repurposed M.S.G. Barrels and EVERYONE disputed the Claim.
In Canada we have some of the Original M.S.G. Barrels sold to C.H.S. shipped Originally from Aji-No-Moto which C.H.S. Did NOT Re Label as HIS Secret Formula that were sent to Calgary AB.
Claudia even explained How she use to Fill the Barrels on many occasions, and described the Portion Cup's containers she used to Measure the Portions in Lugs before Poured into the Barrel Prior to the use of a Small Cement mixer for Blending the Spices, they used a Hobart 25 Table Mixers to mix the 11 Spices and Herbs .
OH and Bill S From Marion kay also attended Calgary with C.H.S. on a Trip.
