Picked up some caraway seed. Some websites claim it pairs well with coriander. Others appear to suggest that coriander is the best substitute for caraway seeds.
As a substitute it may be that you don't need both coriander and caraway. Pairing well is another story.
My initial thought has been celery seed + caraway may have later been substituted for coriander. So we will see.

My opinion on coriander vs caraway is that coriander is sour, whereas caraway is very sweet and nutty flavour.

1/4 tsp to about 300g flour. Wow, that's way less than I had anticipated. Yes and that was enough for me to go "WOW!!!" at what it did to the cooking aroma and flavour. I am still playing with it tho, so i may go higher or lower.

I just bought a bottle of McCormick's and it has a pretty good licorice smell. You can also get the light rye bread smell as well from it. If caraway doesn't work for me. I'd be on fennel next. As it is one of my favorites for adding to pizza sauce etc.

Since Caraway Seed provides a nuttiness (as for Coriander) as well as licorice (as for Anise Seed), this 11 H&S recipe derivation upon my Recipe #17 may be worthy of a spin:
Caraway is replacing both Coriander Seed and Anise Seed in this recipe. Allspice is replacing Clove, Nutmeg, and Cinnamon. There is room to return an Oregano derivative thereby.

Will 1.50 grams of Caraway Seed deliver roughly the equivalent of both of these:
1) The nuttiness character of 1.25 grams of Coriander Seed. 2) The licorice character of 0.50 grams of Anise Seed.
