When was the corporate name changed to 'KFC'? Both the 40 and 32 Oz. bags say KFC.

If we know when it stopped being 'Kentucky Fried Chicken' and started being 'KFC' we can establish an age terminus for the bags. The presumption here is that before the terminus all bags would have said "Kentucky Fried Chicken', and after it they would state 'KFC'.
And if nothing else, plastic itself as a bagging material only goes back so far in time. That (if nothing else) also establishes a terminus.

According to Google. In the US, name changed to KFC in 1991 So it should be reasonable to presume that the 40 ounce and 32 ounce 'KFC' bags are not older than 1991.

The 1970's seems right for 40 ounces of herbs and spices. The taste of the chicken back then was way better than today.
I tasted my first KFC chicken at a 'Kenny King's' restaurant, perhaps as early as about 1959. I believe that Kenny King was among the early KFC franchisees. And I believe his franchise dates to somewhere around 1957-1959'ish.

Picked up some fresh Nutmeg today so hopefully I can find time over the weekend to do my Eugenol flavor testing. My cloves. Allspice and cinnamon are all less than 6 weeks old so wanted to make sure I was using Nutmeg that was fresh.
First attempts will be:
1) 1 Part Cinnamon + 1 Part Nutmeg + 1 Part Clove 2) 1 Part Cinnamon + 1/2 part Nutmeg + 1/2 Part Clove 3) 0.5g Allspice + 0.35g Nutmeg

Silver, based on what you posted. I'll throw a 4th in where I use Allspice and clove. I'll go back and see what percent you wanted to add of clove to allspice
