Why would ANYONE Spend time on recipes with ONLY 5 or 6 Ingredient's excluding the Salt, Pepper, M.S.G.
When the Principle of the Court case in limiting the Ingredient's to 5 or 6 WAS TO Eliminate the Potential of making Original F.F.C. Fried Chicken
Plus Famous Fried Chicken Does not taste Like K.F.C. ANYMORE
Pat's Grace's Perfect Blend Admits to 12 Ingredients in The Seasoned Flour Mix?
Bill S indicated 12 Ingredient's in the Marion Kay Chicken Seasoning ? Bill S. Marion Kay AGREE to STOP SELLIN the Marion Kay Chicken Seasoning to the Franchises and Alter the Recipe BUT HE DID NOT AGREE to ONLY alter the Marion Kay 99x to 5 or 6 Ingredient's. THIS WAS DISCUSSED on Forums (There appears to BE a Cross over of Limited amount's of Spices or Herb's that can be used IN COMPETITORS FRYING CHICKEN FOR RETAIL SALES, competing with K.F.C.
THE ISSUE Marion Kay Had was C.H.S. Canadian, UK, Florida, Montana, Utah 200 C.H.S. FRANCHISE EXEMPT were using the Marion Kay Chicken Seasoning and NEW AGE STOPPED Marion Kay in the Distribution to the Franchises ? Marion Kay was NEVER FORCED TO STOP USING Vegetable Item Celery, Garlic, Onion OR ANY other Vegetable Ingredient's
YOU are NOT under a Court Order to Limit YOUR SPICE MIX SO WHY WHY WHY Limit it to ONLY 5 or 6
especially when Famous Brand Does NOT Taste Like K.F.C. chicken ?
ONLY A QUESTION as YOU will never achieve the Original or ANY COPY CAT recipe with ONLY 5 or 6 ingredient's

You are the person that has stead fast that after the Famous Chicken court case. All of MK and Karl etc. were forced to the "5" outside salt and pepper.
"Bill S Marion kay was then in a loosing situation without C.H.S. quarter backing the Whole Deal on Bill S Team. NEW AGE then forced a settlement agreement on Marion Kay to Limit the Ingredients similar to the 1966 Court Case or Face a MAJOR COURT BATTLE that would have Bankrupted Marion Kay."

I have maintained that the 19966 Court case WAS INDEED a Catalyst and MAJOR item forcing CHANGE YES 100%.
LOOK at Karl's' POSTING 24 Hours after the release of the LAST VIDEO
IT was DISCUSSED ON THE FORUM and others Posted that Pat's used 12 Ingredient and that they SAY IT IS NOT the Original.
PAT closed ALL of the CHICKEN competing restaurant's He had IMMEDIATELY after court case. Marion Kay was NOT allow to SELL to C.H.S. Canadian UK, Florida, Montana, or Utah locations after the Settlement.
99x was Changed after the Court Case Both Bill S and Jim R BOTH admitted a Change to the Recipe.
MY comment READ IT "Limit the Ingredients similar to the 1966 Court Case" LIMIT the Ingredient's
THE Court Case 1966 DOES NOT talk about Vegetable Celery, Garlic, Onion A Court Case CANNOT limit VEGEATBLE from ANY ONE IMPOSSIBLE

Marion Kay has Under went 3 Noticeable Packaging changes for Chicken seasoning, Chicken seasoning 99x, 99x In Private I have sent some Photo's of the 2 open Bags We Have and Will NOT open the Oldest Un-open Bags, That's C.H.S. had in Calgary when Bill S was also with HIM. From the Early day
Anthony Claims He has NOT viewed the OLD Bag of Marion Kay ? Pre 1970's WHY NOT if THEY have it because HIS FAMILY will NOT show it to HIM ?
He Can Come See it in Canada if HE WANTS, He visited the Corbin Museum Come to Canada and see Canadian FACTS of K.F.C.
I will GIVE Anthony CREDIT he has come out of the closet against K.F.C. because he was Booted from Famous Chicken ?

The Ingredients List 5 or 6 issue was Discussed on the Colonel's KITCHEN also Silver Brough the conversation From Ken's Forum the discussion of the 5 or 6 ingredient were discussed for Decade ARE YOU FOR REAL ?
There is OPEN discussion related to the 5 or 6 ingredient's AND I'm Asking why is this being Persuade?
I have NEVER advocated MAKE A RECIPE WITH ONLY 5 or 6 Ingredients EVER NEVER
it was asked what would a Person use if ONLY 5 or 6 ingredients were USED.
I try and focus others including Silver when they keeps adding No. 10 or 11 as Garlic Powder asking why weaken the 11 Spices and Herbs

This is a three step process:
1) I've been eating both KFC and Famous Recipe chicken since childhood. Since I was 4 years old for KFC, and since I was 11 years old for Famous Recipe Chicken. Both of these have gone way down hill over the years, with Famous Recipe going even further down hill than KFC (for the most part). But years ago I discovered a Famous Recipe in New Philadelphia, Ohio that still makes great chicken, often better in both my and my families opinion than KFC.
2) @deefriednew101 began making mention on this forum (for some off the wall and most likely ranting/obfuscating reason, likely meant to impress us of his vast insider knowledge) of a KFC lawsuit that forbid Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken from using more than 5 ingredients beyond B&W Pepper, Salt, MSG, and Flour.

3) I put #1 and #2 as seen above together and concluded that truly 'better than KFC' chicken is assuredly 100% possible to be made when using only 5 ingredients beyond B&W Pepper, Salt, MSG, and Flour. So I started dreaming up methods by which this might be accomplished.

The greatest single flaw in Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken is that it (and particularly the breasts) is often dry. The same lawsuit forbid Famous Recipe from pressure cooking under a two tiered temperature process as for KFC. Without being able to drop the temperature it must be very difficult to get things right.
That plus I'm convinced they have greatly cheapened the recipe they used in 1966. Lee's has fallen on hard times, and corner cutting is evident. They started out in Ohio, and while once they were everywhere, and for the simple reason that they made excellent chicken, now there are not many left.

Lee Cummings was a nephew of CHS. When CHS was making road trips to initiate franchises Lee often accompanied him. Lee eventually became the President of his Uncle's business. Then in 1964 CHS sold, Lee was very likely fired, and in 1965 he began work on his own franchise chicken. Also in 1965 KFC sued him. After the dust settled, the first Famous Recipe Chicken franchises began sprouting up all over Ohio in 1966.
