All three variants above are nominally Eugenol delivery equivalent.

Silver:
You Do Not have to List to my advice BUT please Humor my Text Posting then
If your Using Allspice / Jamaican Pimento adding extra Clove many throw the whole balance OUT.
Do Not believe Me BUT it's NOT required. If you want more Flavor just BUMP up the Allspice / Pimento
I know Everyone will Say Do NOT list DF101 is Full of it
Go Back and re watch Glens 3rd Video He Does multiple cook offs (KFC, Marion Kay, Ken's, Chicago Tribune) if memory serves me correct
It would be a Video where Glen and Jewel's say they Spoke to Tommy Settle about Marion kay Seasoning. If I'm correct its the Third Video in the KFC series Glen made. He also Tested Ken's Recipe which Glen indicated Clove was wrong in Ken's Recipe Jewel's references More Pepper Needed in ALL test.
The both indicated Marion Kay was weaker then NEW age KFC and Lacking Pepper Flavor.
ONLY my advice Go review Glen's Video 3 or 4 which ever video it may be related to the Testing of 4 recipes.

When will you be cooking these? Quite effectively over the coarse of my recipe history I already have. But admittedly never within an otherwise identical (as close as reasonably possible) recipe. I probably only cook about 8 recipes annually, and now that I've been just recently diagnosed as being a Type 2 Diabetic, wherein at this juncture I'm still trying to determine if diet alone can control it (against medical advice), my deep fried chicken cooking adventures are likely to take a back seat for the foreseeable future, and perhaps beyond...

deepfriednew101: Dustin's recipe (which even you have said is very good) contains a good load of both Allspice and Clove.

I said Review what Glen and jewel have said regarding Ken's Recipe.
Yes It's Funny they say that Clove is Over powering in the Ken's recipe and NOT over powering in the Dustin recipe.
I guess you can check and report what amounts BOTH use
I only reference that They have said its Wrong in Video 3 Ken's recipe

If and that’s an if. You believe that CHS built the OR on using a blend in particular Sexton Poultry. Then a quick check of that order to the GGGN 99x bag. Would tell you that allspice was increased. I’ve done some work on recreating Sexton’s and have numbers I think are close to what Lumpy used but a bit more mathematical.
There is a possibility CHS added some clove just a pinch to his blend using Sexton’s. And then later on perhaps in working with Bill. That was given up and an increase in allspice was what he did.
I think only allspice in any of 99x or Grace’s etc
I think your number 2 with 375g of allspice and .125g clove may be real close to what originally was in the OR

I'm actually (quite openly) asking as to which will taste better for each and every member of this forum, rather than suggesting that one may come closer to CHS's rather highly unknown recipe (which wouldn't be all that far off from asking how many Angels can sit on the head of a pin). After all, isn't the best flavor what really matters?
And since I'm effectively out of business for the foreseeable future, my research must fall into the hands of others. In other words, I'm going to need some independent outside assistance.
