A Cayenne and Paprika blend would most likely have been passed off as a Hot Hungarian Paprika.

The incomplete list or short list was the one I had access to on the equipment I was typing on. A longer list more complete list of Items is on another Computer which is at another office, and Not where I was doing work.

So I am crazy for even taking the idea of napkin sketches vaguely illustrating the 11 herbs and spices into consideration, but ought to believe that the original spice tins have been unreservedly and openly displayed in the museum for everyone to see?

Two more points about the museum. Firstly, even if these are original tins CHS used in his kitchen, that does not mean all of them had been used for his chicken blend. I am sure he would have prepared other dishes as well, or experimented with several ingredients. Secondly, the spices and herbs that we can see are the good old usual suspects. No revelation, no new information. I think we can move on.

East Frisian I Openly Said:
The museum was a representation of C.H.S. old Kitchen and already STATED that the items could have been used in other recipes or dishes, I said the items would have been at the Colonel's reach for any recipe. BUT is You Know ANYTHIG about Cook's and Professional who want to maintain Great food they use the same item's they Know work and stay with it as a rule.
So anyone using their Brains and then linking other quotes Like I combined spice which worked together and complimented the Chicken to see what fits for chicken and what does NOT BUT it ALL stays in line with what was in the Pantry and what was available with 1930's time and NO Jack in the Bean stock BS Magic Beans theory that does NOT float.

Cook's and Professional who want to maintain Great food they use the same item's they Know work and stay with it as a rule. What spices professional cooks use largely depends on their culinary background, training, and the type of cuisine they specialise in. If you run a Japanese or Italian restaurant e.g., you may stick with a limited range of spices and only use traditional ingredients that are characteristic of that particular cuisine. Housewives also fall under this category. With exceptions of course. However, many professional cooks are known for their culinary creativity and adventurous spirit. They may explore a wide array of spices from different cultures and experiment with unique flavor combinations. These chefs often aim to create innovative and exciting dishes that surprise and delight their diners. Their willingness to experiment with lesser-known spices can lead to the discovery of new and intriguing taste experiences. I am inclined to think that CHS belongs to category B, even though I believe in the Poultry Seasoning hypothesis. In conclusion, while the presence of spice tins in CHS's kitchen photo can offer some insights, it doesn't provide a comprehensive understanding of the spices used in the OR and does not offer any new information at this point.

everyone has a right to a opinion.
I prefer basing my Opinion on Logic and even Forensic CSI which usually leads to a logic conclusion of Fact's
If the FBI or any Major Investigative Team was given the Taske to recreate the KFC Spice and Herbs
They would start with the OLDEST evidence available that Cannot mistake Fact. PHOTO's
Yes the PHOTO can lead to inconclusions or incorrect Finding BUT that would be why they build the case with other Surrounding Points.
There was a Story C.H.S. shot a Man over CHS painting on Barn Side as advertisement. It Is backed up with with court cases, Photo, News articles and a Dead Body and smoking gun. Case closed.
when it come's to the 11 Herbs and Spices search One would think that the most plausible way to start is viewing the oldest evidence know.
Obviously the Spices and Herbs Sold and used in 1935's to 1940's most common spices and herbs FIRST and the words from that time period.
