Let's Go Back to real FACT's Gloria P was ON 5 Major Television shows in the Time she released information and a radio Show that C.H.S. called into many Time's which were Aired and He Discussed with Gloria the Chicken cooked was a Rose Colored as she Called it with C.H.S. They Did NOT discuss the Chicken as a Golden Brown when they Spoke about the Chicken in the Shows Mentioned Rose Red color. So in Line with the NEW AGE K.F.C. having issues with discoloration and Oil issue's with paprika FACT proven in K.F.C. Oil Management Bulletin's Then One reviews the 99-x Red Pepper (which does NOT color chicken or Oil) One could speculate that possibilities of Color Might be similar to Photo's

My wife and I cooked a couple of Gloria Pitzer's KFC clone recipes, and they are AWFUL. Not even a vague hint of KFC note. Using her as a reference for authority is a really bad idea.
Edit: I wasted my money on her book, and felt ripped off. She certainly had no ability to accurately clone much of anything.

Take the Comments FROM ALL THE TV and Radio which say the Chicken was Rose Red color NOT Golden Brown. Look back to the Wayback machine or ASK KEN aka Dustin this QUESTION WHEN they Posted on the Wayback Machine or Colonel Kitchen WHY DID THE BAGS they obtain all have RED pigment in the 11 Herbs and Spices 86 Messages Back in the Era of Colonel Kitchen and the Seasoning discolored the cardboard tray the seasoning was in ASK THAT QUESTION PLEASE In case they FORGET refer to the Photo that was ON KEN's Site and refresh Ken AKA Dustin memory  I Do Not reference Gloria P recipe as a recipe to use to cook chicken for the Taste, she even says that HER recipe is short ingredients ADMITTED WHAT everyone is MISSING is that she used the Paprika to Color the Chicken and the Tomato Soup for OTHER reasons with the Italian Herb seasoning. I Do NOT advocate Her chicken to BE a GOOD chicken for Taste |

There were Other Photo On the Colonel Kitchen Posted at the Time also
I will try and locate the Photo BUT Ken's site have them
UNLESS you are now saying that ALL the Information on the Colonel Kitchen were related to your Photo.
I'm Sorry I posted your Photo as the Reference Willie and I will Make a NOTE* to NOT use that Photo as a Red Color seasoning photo very sorry
I will still say the Colonel Kitchen had reference from MANY who said Red Seasoning

Most of the photos were mine of my 1998 KFC seasoning "package". I later posted photos of the 2016 seasoning. The marinade and milk and egg powders are all from 1998.
