Curry Leave NOT Curry Powder

In discussion with a KFC Franchise owner Overses's 


His words were as followed have you tried Curry Leaves NOT Curry Powder 


This led US on a Recipe Trial & Experiment and Learning curve of the Item and when it was entered into U.S.A. 

Curry Leaves were imported into the U.S.A. as a Medical Use item Originally 

There was a Over abundance of the Leaves which were attempted to be sold on Stores as a Spice Herb item Sales were NOT great as spice item 

BUT the Curry powder Blended item WAS A success.

I will SAY this from cooking the Curry Leaves fresh Ground 

IT IS NOT Curry Powder when Ground AND DOES NOT have the Same effect as Curry Powder 


In our Pantry Curry Leave are NOW a Major Staple Item 

Has ANYONE tried Curry Leaves instead of Curry Powder EVER ?
