I know everyone Likes looking at the Labels On the K.F.C. Bags or 99-x ETC ETC ETC
The one part that eludes many is the Label Laws around the WORLD
The law in MANY Country's differ BUT what is consistent is this
Just because the Label say Original Recipe or 11 Herbs and Spices included
They Do Not have to list the Original Herbs an Spices or the Original Recipe.
BUT BUT BUT
They have to list items that are NOT in the Original if they are Mixed with the Original Recipe or Added to the 11 Herbs and Spices SO
Salt, Pepper, White Pepper, and M.S.G. are listed either because the Company does NOT care or they were forced to at some point because they Added it and were forced to SHOW the items and once the cats out of the Bag hard to hide it ?
Old bags indicated Mustard and Celery as Allergens as a Part of the Original Recipe On some Bags around the world. Until they could use extracts at under 3 to5 % depending on Countries Label Law's which state is a extract is mixed in a carrier it does not have to be disclosed EVEN IF A ALLERGEN is under 3 to 5 % in a carrier it Does NOT have to be disclosed.
Trick they use NOW
EXAMPLE ONLY
3% Mustard mixed with Salt Carrier 3% Mustard mixed with Sugar
means they can have 6% Mustard in the recipe and NEVER disclose the Allergen as neither went over 3% and the Law does NOT say that if they use multiple carriers for a spice or herbs extract or otherwise YOU DO NOT add the individual carrier items together even if its the same Base ingredient.
That went to court in 1932 and also 1935 when Spice companies got hit with Tax fines and huge extra Tax increase, which include issue over Onion, Garlic, Celery laws ?
So when you see a Chicken nugget or chicken strip MADE off Location and NOT hand Breaded in the seasoned FLOUR the ingredients change from Region to region on the ingredients and Some are MUST BY LAW PRINT allergen or items that are NOT in the original recipe ?
so a item like Mustard or Celery Can Go over 5% and NOT be listed as long as each carrier is under the 3% 0r 5 % use in the one carrier. BUT combined the Item was WAY WAY OVER the 3% or 5% amount and its NOT listed totally legit by Grey Law Print Legislation

Do you believe that both mustard seed and celery seed were actually part of the early CHS era pressure fried chicken recipe?

deepfriednew101 , do you believe that the recipe requires a 'licorice' delivering component? Or should I try one of my best recipes to date while leaving it out and replacing it with an herb or celery seed?

It was Coleman Double Fine Mustard, and Celery Seed that I was able to find out from the 1 country Since Coleman's lists white and brown mustard, with white followed by brown, should I mix my pure brown (Chinese) dry mustard at perhaps 50/50 with ground yellow mustard seed (where yellow and white mustard are said by Wikipedia to be one and the same)?

The problem that exist is Trying to establish was it the Original Recipe or a changed recipe of Brown and Massey ?
I can Confirm this and Do Not give care what K.F.C says the recipes in different countries are different even to the Point that K.F.C exports certain items to countries and then has that country finish the recipe with regional spices or herbs.
Cost Cutting on shipments and also promotes trade with the countries ETC

I think white mustard plus turmeric equals yellow mustard. So should I also add a wee pinch of turmeric?
