This is MY OPIONION
C.H.S. had ALWAYS referred to the Original Seasoning Recipe as the 11 SPICES & HERBS
NOT
11 Herbs and Spices like it was Branded from the NEW AGE K.F.C. Brown & Massey
In 1939 the 1905 FDA ACT was A heavier Handed Regulatory Body then the A.T.F.
The 1905 Act was specific for Blended Spices and Herbs, C.H.S. had indicated that there were More Spices then Herbs and he had to say Spices & Herbs. Which means one of two things He was NOT following the Laws, or that Brown & Massey Changed the Recipe to More Herbs then Spices ?
as the LAW DID NOT CHANGE until 1985 ?
The other issue was with entering OTHER countries LAWS were different and Brown & Massey tried to streamline ALL countries under one umbrella ?
When I personally inquired about the Two Bag Mixes and Why 2 Bags were used ? I asked 15 different sources the QUESTION ?
HOW MANY ITEMS WERE IN EACH BAG ?
I asked The Different representative and P.R. departments the Spice Companies in MANY COUNTRIES as there have been more then 6 Different companies involved EVEN though everyone THINKS ONLY 2 from the Marion Kay Court Case.
MANY ANSWERS suggested 6 Spices and 5 Herbs Which were Individual Based Spices and Herbs NOT Blended THIS WAS MORE THE MAJORITY answer.
2 Sources claimed Blended items were used ? So whos correct ?
K.F.C. New Age played on the 5 Spice Girls and 6 Herbs Marketing ?
BUT it could be because they changed the recipe ?
The Point I try and make is the Breakdown or Spices and Herbs Lists from 1939 ? May answer Questions ? LEFT TO YOUR THOUGHT.
