In discussion with the Seniors at lodges which we cater events to and discussion with the following age categories you get a vast recollection of what they remember about the OG Chicken of CHS
AGE;
1-40
40-50
50-60
60-70
70-80
80 -90
90-up
As I look at a above age profile the Difference in what they describes Drastically Jumps once you vault over the 50-60 Age spread
that time period places people between the era of memory eating chicken back to the 1960's 1970's as a full recollection it seems for most recall age 15 and older before full understanding.
With every passing day we loose the Older ones back to the eternal dirt or spirit which they proceed upon another journey.
In the last month I have taken the time to spend with many who have ventures 80 years plus on the earth and Living. I have sourced out the ones who had personal relations with CHS and either cooked within the KFC business at either the Head Location and one of the Oldest Ladies working a counter for 50 years in A KFC in Eastern Canada.
while some have more stories about CHS and the Man he was there are some who worked in the Trenches with CHS, and started Franchises In Canada.
I will focus on the ones who were in the Kitchens and Day to Day operations before the other people
The ones who say CHS often say he was Always working on Recipes and Testing something especially when he was in the KFC Lab.
They ALL said he hated the Changed that New Age Corporation Made with the Recipe.
Two Mentioned that When CHS won the second Lawsuit. The upper Management were Ordered to attend and watch CHS cook the Original Kitchen and There was a Promise to get back to the Original Chicken and seasoning. They said there was a Great attempt at the change BUT it started to Fizz again and after CHS passed away the Pilot light went out and back to the NEW AGE WAYS of screwing up Chicken.
One who Know the Original Older Chicken said you could see NOT only the Pepper in the Old chicken BUT you say spices and herbs WHICH the NEW AGE you DO NOT SEE.
The Original was more a Rose color cooked chicken and the inner bone had a red color ring around the bone and meat ?
There was True Flavor in the Old Chicken the New Chicken was a synthetic fabricated flavor heavy salt flavor
there is a Drastic memory difference between the ones who remember the 1970ish chicken then ones from the 1990 to current.
