I think this is great discussion, but at this point in my research, I haven't "personally" read the original sources of these pieces of information you quote. This is called "hearsay". Who said it? When? What was the basis of the conversations? Who were they told to? What evidence is there that these statements weren't just more of the BS that CHS was quite willing to spread around? I read that CHS angrily told someone that salt was one of the 11. You quote some statement that contradicts this. Am I supposed to take this at face value? Did someone say that CHS told them that? Lay a foundation. I never read any of that stuff. If it is personal information told to you, then the standard of proof rises.

Lets look at the Facts in Canada.
1967 Video CHS and a Lie detector says that Savory is in the Mix ? so either a Lie or False advertising NOT sure you determine.
Shirley T on Todd Wilbur, episode SUGGESTES that Sage, and Savory were in the MIX - Again only a suggestion BUT Savory then again mentioned in T.V. Ad ?
Tellicherry Black Pepper. Mentioned in Video with Todd Wilbur also in Glen and Friends and Other so called leaked recipes BUT listed on KFC labels ? so is white pepper
Salt That's a NO brainer Listed in every manual of Older times a separate BAG from KFC and listed shown in Pounds of salt for decades, yes salt was listed on BAGS of 11 Herbs and Spices, BUT if KFC was using a Celery, Garlic, or Onion Salt with under 3% Celery, Onion, Garlic then the Law / regulation for label in MOST countries says they ONLY have to LIST SALT NOT celery, garlic, onion.
Ginger mentioned BY CHS, mentioned by Newspaper articles where extra Ginger was added ?
ALL these Videos and article have been posted ON multiple Forums and sites for Decades ?
KFC says 11 Individual Herbs and Spices since 1939 ? Yes some old bags said seasoning ?
William P stated that when reverse engineered ONLY 4 Items were detected Flour, Salt, Pepper, MSG. The KFC museum show M.S.G. on the a NOTE K.F.C shows in a display counter and listed on KFC Ingredient list of spice bag ?
ALL THESE articles and Video have been Promoted BY KFC so are they using False advertising and why has a GOOD Lawyer NOT sue them ?
KFC has been Called out By Legislators and Governments over, Oil, Salt, M.S.G. amounts ?

every one can be arm chair quarterbacks of information and yes some information including NEWS articles and Videos can be taken from left wing theory and conspiracy. KFC has been made to defend the Mutant chicken issue and in humane action of Birds and Workers BUT they have never been taken to the Carpet on Extract use or false representation of the 11 Herbs and Spices WHY CHS is DEAD. They never have to show the Original Recipe

Lets not talk about looking at the facts. Let's look at the facts. Where are the independent sources of this information. I never told anyone what the "Yum" regional manager told me because it was just hearsay. I told her, "get me the bags and boxes and manuals". She did.

1960's TV commercial inferring Milk, Egg, Flour, Savory ?
I can hear it NOW BUT it does not say how many ounces or a Percentage of Savory or NO NO its a word game with the word SAVORY ?
Take it as you May, In Canada there was a question about Summer Savory and it came up in conversation with CHS. Then after the slip up soon followed the Commercial as you see it. It inferences SAVORY as a cooking item and There were MANY instances where the Canadian Food Administration HIT HARD with Play on words, with Massive fines to BIG Chain Franchises.
