I grew mine and found little difference from what I buy at "Sprouts". I do finely sift it when I grind it to remove much of the chaff.

My Australian coriander does smell very orangey. I've found marjoram is also very orangey when plucked fresh from the plant. I have tried high quality lemon zest and it did not work good at all. Next i am going to try some orange. Coriander i am still unsure about, i tasted some raw yesterday and was surprised how little actual flavour i got despite it smelling so nice.

Yes very orange/citrusy. I worked for a badass chef that made a toasted coriander dry rub (with other H&S) but the main ingredient was highly roasted coriander. He called this rub “the froot-loops”. Cuz it smelled so sweet and citrus-y like the cereal.

Might someone recommend a citrus fruity Coriander Seed brand that's available in the USA?

I know this might seem like a Hack of sort BUT K.F.C. New Age and the Spice companies are already using since the 1920's
Buy Coriander seed Partially grind or Crack the seeds then use a Liquid Orange Extract $12.00 in Canada for a small bottle Food Grade High Quality
with 95g of Cracked Coriander Place 4 to 5 drops of Liquid Orange extract or Lemon for that matter over the Cracked Coriander Seed keep stirring or shaking the cracked seed to mix the liquid into the Cracked seed.
Let it dry and grind to consistency.
The Spice Companies Have been adding extracts to items like this since the 1920's and Sexton was the Forerunner of this additional method to increase Potency or cross combine two Spices or Herbs.
It is used in many Spice Companies to make Dual Flavors Salts also
