CHS used Pharmaceutical Grade Spices and Herbs (He told many stories how he packed the items in a OLD LARD Tin to deliver Babies) CHS was VERY FUSSY WITH Ingredients (HE threw out Crap that was Crap in the 1947 Cafeteria he ran explained he threw out the Bad Stock cheap items)

That's my problem. When growing my own, I had a constant source of herbs and spices, which were standard. Buying them now is hit and miss. I've gotten so paranoid about the heat from coffee grinders that I've been using mortar and pestle. I'm too old for that. LOL
