Allspice was 1 of the older Spices Packaged in convent spice tins early in Spice trade industry.
It was one of the first spices which was used in Baking, Sausage Making, Preservative Canning

Penick’s Brand Allspice was what CHS used in many recipes?
it was a Go to spice or herb for CHS
I would say it was a spice that would have been used by CHS and it does go great in Chicken recipes.
It has all the qualities and aroma found in KFC chicken and we use it in our recreations of the Original KFC Chicken.
I laughed in Glen and Friends Video in comparing it to Savory ?

We have always Guessed Vial H as Allspice in the 1985 Vial acrylic pack
