My wife added a tablespoon of a homemade Quasi-KFC seasoning mix that we've had laying around (from a 10X quantity batch we made up some time ago) to some flour and bread crumbs. Then she egg wash coated and flour/bread crumbed coated 1 pound of Chicken Livers in this mix and pan fried them (along with a good amount of sliced onions) in sunflower oil. The result was hands down the tastiest Chicken Livers I've ever experienced. Just thought you might be interested in trying this.

I’m not sure about chicken livers as they aren’t a thing where I’m from. But i deep fried mushrooms tonight in a leftover mix I had. Made it into a batter and used it for the mushrooms. Real good tasting.

No real measurements more like feel.
I used around 100g flour with the half seasoning I had left. To that I added some baking powder to crisp them a bit more. Maybe 1.5 tablespoons. Mixed it well and then added 1 egg and started adding tiny amounts of milk until it was a thick batter. Dipped the mushrooms in and made your they were coated well and then into the deep fryer. If you wanted a more crispy type coating I would roll them into some bread crumbs or panko before hitting the deep fryer

I'm going to guess only about 3 minute cook time.
