I have no real idea as to how one might actually go about this, and I don't have any boxed mix to look at for guidance, so I'm winging it. Please let me know if this might at least get me into the ballpark for a "Stove Top Like" Stuffing mix and process.
Dressing/Stuffing Seasoning Mix, 100 grams
2 gram Allspice 2 gram Mace 20 gram Celery Salt 20 gram White Pepper 30 gram Sage 10 gram Savory 10 gram Thyme 2 gram Tarragon 2 gram Rosemary 1 gram Marjoram 1 gram MSG
Grind ~5 seconds in a coffee grinder
Add 1 to 1-1/2 TBSP of the above Seasoning Mix, plus 1 TSP Parsley Flakes, to 1 "loaf equivalent" of toasted/dried white bread cubes. Whip 1 egg into 8 Fluid Ounces (1 Cup) of Chicken Broth plus 2 TBSP of melted butter, and sprinkle slowly over seasoned bread cubes while tossing lightly. Slowly add extra Chicken Broth if/as needed (while gently tossing) to only very lightly moisten the seasoned bread cubes. Do not get them too wet or soggy. Stuff bird and roast.
