If you understand basic cookery, you know the O.R contains both garlic/onion. It makes absolutely no sense to just use garlic. The thing that doesn't make sense is why they only list garlic?
No way C.H.S who understands cooking would only use garlic. The most stupid thing i've ever read was on the old tck forum where they said the recipe contains no garlic 🤦 really? a chicken recipe with no garlic? 🤣 bulk of the note is coming from garlic/onion sulfur compounds.

When I threw together this last mix into 1/4 cup of table salt, I used pinches (purely guess work) of Italian dressing, rosemary, sage, tarragon, savory, celery seeds, caraway seeds, smoked paprika, garlic, onion, allspice, ginger, mustard, msg, white pepper, black pepper and curry.

I still question you on 1 item WHY did you use Curry ? You have your own personal Chili spice ?
Which worked better using Chili spice or Curry Spice ?

I am going to solve for good, the question about whether pressure frying required less seasoning, than pan frying. I just pan fried using my mix, and next I will pan fry using the same amount of the 2016 KFC mix. This experiment will answer the question.

it reads as BOTH will be pan Fried ? or is this a experiment between your own Mix of seasoning and the NEW AGE KFC seasoning of 2016 ?

He thinks by pan frying chicken using his mix (designed for pan frying) and a KFC mix (designed for pressure frying) he’ll come up with an answer. But I don’t think it works like that…

Nothing ventured, nothing gained. If the 2016 tastes much weaker than what can be purchased today, then I'll know.
The chicken I cooked using the "offhand" recipe was very good. I see the adjustments to be made. The white pepper needs to dominate. The debate I'm having is between anise, fennel and caraway seeds. I chose caraway because of the 11 vials photo and because it is the only alternative to coriander listed in 99X. The first dark vial is either Holy basil, or clove. There is still something missing and I'm looking at an ingredient that I never liked, nutmeg. It fits vial H perfect. I've wondered what the essence of KFC is that they put into all of those "KFC" products, such as fireplace logs. Remember the story about the advice that CHS gave to that woman about putting nutmeg into her gravy, as he did. Is it the base of the "note" we have been chasing? But what formula would be used? I've already made a few adjustments and used more exact measurements, but I will cook with the 2016 KFC seasoning first, then try this one. I am not addressing the flour issue or the wash issue or the frying oil issue. Those are not rocket sciences. The salt in my new mix comes totally from garlic, onion and celery salt.
