I'd have to go find my notes on it. But if every ingredient in Ledington's which is a seasoned salt is measured in Tablespoons. I think you end up a bit short on salt compared to the ratio they were at in the past. So the extra 2/3 Tablespoons fills that.
Why it is list first? I don't believe any hidden information is in that. Could have been the last thing they realized. More salt was needed and it made the top of the list?

HEY PEOPLE
There is NO rock science to 1930's way of writing Recipes
Salt was ONE of the MOST Essential Cooking, Canning, Baking, Canning Preservative, Butchering, and Medical element Known to the People in the Early Years.
In the Early YEARS they all referenced SALT first ON almost every Recipe.
In Every Butchering recipe I have Going back to 1900 and Sausage Recipes 98% ALL list the Salt First. In Many Old recipes they All List Salt First in recipes and second was Usually Pepper. I'm NOT speaking about Baking Soda or Baking Powders in Baking BUT as For Butchering, Baking, Cooking and Canning the MAJORITY salt was USUALLY the TOP listed item
YES I know there are many many recipe where it is NOT listed First, THE OVERWHELMING MAJORITY have SALT AND PEPPER separate on the Tops of the Recipes then list other items.

I'm not jumping through any hoops. I'm not a circus animal. I don't know if anyone has noticed, but the salt added to the OR has "usually" been 1 and 1/2 times the weight of the seasoning. As for MSG, at the earliest I've seen, it was at least equal to the white pepper. KFC said that Ledington was missing at least 5 ingredients, S, A, L, T, and msg? I'm just exploring, but the math I've worked out seems to fit every parameter. Grams became standardized in 1964, and by Act of Congress in 1975. It has been quoted somewhere that CHS's recipe was difficult to draw up, as in it took a scientist, or mathematician, or whatever. Some said it was the gravy that was difficult. How easy it would be to convert grams to "TBSs" to throw off viewers. Also, with garlic salt and celery salt, why use salt at all, if it was to be added later? Could it be that this was also a code for msg? It gets me that people make CHS out to be such a genius and trickster, but deny that he could have used "craft" to hide his recipe.
As usual, I will try to draw up a recipe using this information. It very closely fits the 26 oz seasoning bag, and Shelton, if salt (2/3g x 4) was msg. BTW, I never saw Shelton's info as grams, but percentages.

Willie - The Tommy S Recipe was the one which was NOTED to be 5 ingredients OFF of out ? NOT the Ledington Recipe
Unless there is something else your referring to in the Ledington Recipe in reference to 5 Ingredient out ?
Your correct you have a Bag of the KFC Spice and in the Time period for the spice you have there would have been another Salt Bag.
It should NOT be difficult to cross reference the Volume of Spice or Herbs to a teaspoon or Tablespoon AS LONG AS YOU KNOW what the spice was Whole Berry, Cracked Berry, Rubbed, Ground, or Seed Your correct ONCE a person established the Grind of the Spice or Herb you can change a recipe from Grams to teaspoon or Tablespoon or from, teaspoon or Tablespoon to Grams or OZ.

If a guy says he has a hand written OR recipe from CHS, but cannot reveal it for legal reasons, that means that he can not reveal the ingredients.
Then he goes on a forum and analyses and critiques everyone's research because he knows what is in the OR.
But he cannot reveal the ingredients because he is legally prohibited.
Then doesn't that mean that he must not allow the OR to be discovered or he is liable?
There was a guy who did that years ago, which TCK members should remember, who made a promise not to reveal what a friend of CHS's had told him.
So he gave hints with the idea being that if he helped another discover the OR, then he wouldn't be breaking his oath.
The ingredients turned out to be opinions made by a bunch of culinary critics who tried to guess what they had tasted in the chicken.
He was a great fraud, and I was one of those who fell for it. After that I found and joined TCK.
I learned this technique of fraud and remember how the scheme works. I just don't know why it is done.
I have never tried to commit a fraud. I have just tried everything possible to solve this riddle

I ain't going to be your lead council. What a ridiculous suggestion. What gets me is that I'm supposed to be on the defensive for not being "lead council". I had one rule when in practice that I never deviated from. No phone interviews; no third person interviews. I only took clients that came into my office personally and spoke to me, eye-ball to eye-ball. I called the shots. You my friend don't call the shots, so quit trying. I may just leave you guys to this fellow. You have to ask yourself, why would a guy want me to discuss, according to him, legally protected information, on the phone, so a recording can be made to make me a witness, or an accomplice?

It's Funny Your the ONLY Lega; person who would NOT speak to a client on the Phone Prior to Taking a case on.
When in fact 99% of the Law Associations or Law Societies World wide all have Lawyer referral out reach programs and or a way to call and check the Lawyers Complaint record. They ALL advise lawyer's MUST give a Possible client Free first telephone call which is typical 30 Minutes?

It's Hilarious that the Council we have currently with One of the most respectful Law Firms who Handle High Profile are working on what YOU turned down and Refused to work on and They have started ALL with NO in person Contact. It would be Crazy to Think a Canadian who needs Help with a Legal representation would have to fly to the USA or any Country First before Obtaining Legal Help LMAO. It's a GREAT THING you DID NOT take the Position because if YOUR Legal advice was as Poor as your above comments it would have been a Chicken Sh!t Show having you as Lead Council LMAO

People called, I set them an appointment, I talked to them in person, as a criminal defense trial attorney. Whoops, no civil cases. I never heard of "Client Solicitor Privilege". No one ever ordered me to take a case, not even if a female demanded it while naked. LOL
