What CHS gave to Shelton was how to begin. He was not stupid enough to give out the recipe. If he did, then I want to see the proof. I will never part with my chili recipe, save for a several million dollar offer.

how much are the people selling their Chilli recipes for in Cash who beat you when you entered the Chilli Contest and you said you took 3rd prize is there recipe worth more then a Million Dollars ?

I cooked gizzards today. I had previously dry brined them for 24 hours with msg, salt, sugar, baking powder, allspice, coriander, white pepper, and a teaspoon of the breading seasoning. I boiled them for 2 hours. I will use the "broth" liquid for my chili I will enter in a chili contest Oct. 1, 2022. The gizzards were spot on, albeit a little less salty, and obviously missing that "peppery" bite, which Pepperall would have given. I ate every last one, and now must wait for the gout to set in. LOL
you claimed to get Food Poisoning from the 4 hour sitting chili also

I'm sure your chilli spice is Great and More flavor then others
Most people have a issue with making GREAT GREAT chilli seasoning.
chilli and the season is very regional and some people love it Hot other love it mild so each to there own
BUT every one like Great chilli

I entered a chili cook off at a local bar. The already cooked chili sat for 3 and 1/2 hours before the judges were selected. They all liked beans in their chili. I don't use beans. The winners all used beans. Someone turned on my crock pot during that time, when it was set to warm. My chili cooked to mush for 3 and 1/2 hours. I was sabotaged. Some of the winners used my chili seasoning I had left for the bar. I ate from a pot of chili sitting next to mine, which also had sat way too long, and got food poisoning. I don't know what this has to do with the price of tea in China. It was a bar. A prepared chili seasoning is not the same as a finished chili product, particularly when it is made Yankee style with beans.
The manner in which this story got embellished makes me wonder about the recital of other people's stories.

You can't argue against the truth. What is your purpose? I told you as it happened. I dare you to show anything I wrote that said I placed third. My chili was mush and I was very pissed off. Some woman did it to my controls. I'm getting a funny feeling about you, buddy.

Alright, wiseguy, here are the PMs sent to you concerning the chili contest I entered at "my local pub".
I'm entering a chili contest Saturday for a Biker poker run. I'm into chili for awhile.
The son of a biker was killed in a car wreck, so they are throwing a benefit for the widow. This will be a test of my chili in a large gathering. Of course, in my experience, when people tastes many "chilis" they usually pick the one that stands out, which is whoever dumps the most brown sugar in their recipe.
Just don't call during the Big 12 Basketball Tournament. I will not give out the secret ingredients to my chili mix. Chili and BBQ sauce are the cuisines with the greatest secrecy factors. I've not entered any chili contests. I entered a crock-pot sample in an informal cookoff at my local pub. Half the entries contained beans. The judges all liked beans in their chili. Chili with beans won the contest and the winner's award was a pepper hat and a few shots of whiskey. I make "Texas Red" and would never let a bean get without a mile of my chili.
It's the seasoning that I protect, not necessarily the actual pot of chili.

I was thinking that these forums and chat rooms discussing the KFC "OR" are good for business. Like the vials. I wonder if they didn't finagle the colors and textures to show not only the original "ll spices and herbs", but also the later ones used by the Corporation. By golly, I think I see both. It's vial J that is the Kicker. It could be oxidized coriander, but also Ketchup spice. Were/are they that crafty? If so, would it make sense to pay people to join these forums to "lead" us in the wrong directions? The more discussion (since TCK died), the more advertising, and increased herb and spice sales. These recipes are all over the internet. I've seen many that came from these forums. I'm just being upfront. I'm slow cooking legs tonight to test a flavor profile. I've recently learned that we need to flavor the skin, more than the meat. The seasoned skin then flavors the meat. Pressure frying completes the process, I'm doing my best to reduce this procedure to common cookware for any household to use. If no pressure fryer is used, then brining is a must.
